Did Lamont McClure Make a New Year's Resolution?

Yesterday, Northampton County's Personnel and Finance Committees met for the first round of committee hearings in 2012. Scott Parsons, who had expressed concern about being able to attend daytime meetings, was there. Amazingly, so was Lamont McClure, whose absence from Committee work has been well-chronicled.

McClure not only attended, but participated, suggesting that Council hire its own Financial Adviser as a check on the information supplied Gary Pulcini, the adviser hired by Executive John Stoffa.

"I don't have a problem with that," responded Council Prez John Cusick.

As long as it's not Concord Public Finance, the outfit that got us into the swaption.

Some claim Barron was told by the Callahan Clan to back off on the Executive run since it belongs to Callahan. If you liked Reibman you will love Callahan. Goodbye cash reserves and hello payola.

He brings pay to play to a level Reibman could only dream about.
