Over seventy-five people are packed into Bethlehem's Town Hall for a Zoning Hearing Board meeting concerning the expansion of Elias Farmers Market, located on Linden Street. "We just broke the record for a ZHB meeting," joked Chairman Gus Loupos. The good humor turned sour, however, after zoners barred Att'y Dave Backenstoe from questioning engineer Ed Pany about the square footage of the expansion.
"You're a quasi-judicial body, and should be interested in finding the truth," objected Backenstoe.
In 2 1/2 hours, only one witness has been heard, and the hearing is going strong now. I'll have a full report later,
