Teamsters Now Represent Emmaus Borough Secretaries

So now I guess Emmaus secretaries are now "goons" as well. right Bernie.

You have got to be kidding. The Teamsters must be really desparate to organize a shop of 9 office workers in a borough. There goes Emmaus' small town charm.

Craig Neely, Emmaus borough manager, said the Teamsters union already represents 18 people in public works and the Police Officers' Association represents 18 policemen.

Neely stressed it is against borough policy to comment about ongoing collective bargaining.

The Teamsters' successful organizing effort among a relatively small group of secretaries isn't really so shocking these days.

Can't help but wonder how Neely treated these secretaries to make them agree to union representation.

They also represent the clerical union in Lower macungie. Nice how they try to bully taxpayers into getting big raises and other perks.
