I understand that had this family chosen to wait in Philadelphia while ICE received guidance from DHS, they likely would have been allowed to enter. Instead they chose to purchase flights back to Qatar.
In other words, they voluntarily deported themselves. Now one has to wonder why?
The Morning Call reported that these refugees were given a choice on arrival of being handcuffed or leaving.
If you were a refugee fleeing an oppressive government with no respect for human life or liberty, you went through years of vetting and were finally approved to come to the USA, and on arrival you were presented with a choice of being handcuffed or leaving, what thoughts might you have?
Dent is such a RINO but it doesn't matter, he has too much name recognition among the uninformed R-lever pullers around here that any competitor on the same side of the ballot doesn't have a chance.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who wants to see Dent gone!!!! Writing a letter and asking for an explanation is how the establishment does it. Notice I said... does it... not gets things done!
Looks like Dent got a nutsack.....we may actually have a good man here... I respect his courage at a time when America has gone lawless... these were not boarder jumpers, they followed the law and were treated as criminals.
I believe on this one Dent will be buttressed on both sides.
Maybe Dent should have thought about how people in his district would be affected back when he advocated "hitting the pause button" on Syrian refugees. Is he just hoping that people will forget where he used to stand?
But Trump and his supporters can use that kind of vague sentiment from mainstream Republicans to justify this executive order. They don't exactly traffic in nuance.

The unintended consequences of Dent's vote for Trump. Sometimes you get what you vote for.

8:17 Stay.
I wish we had more Charlie Dents on both sides of the aisle and this partisanship crap would stop.

You are very misinformed. Dent was actively opposed to Trump.
It's people like you with myopic views that are a major part of the problem. The sooner your kind become a minority the better the country will be.

I supported that response myself. But that's not what Trump has done.
