Can You Spare a Dime For Jeff Parks?

Earlier this week, this sign was located at the front yard of Denny the barber on West Broad Sreet. I understand that the Musikfest police have taken Denny away to re-education camp, where he will be forced to eat high-priced junk food until he vomits, and drink beer after beer, while doing polkas.

Knowing Roebuck, he probably shat a good shit so that Mr Parks has to dig to get the spare change...

Pretty tacky to ask for donations during the last Musikfest concert when folks are 'imprisoned' in their seats and onlookers glance.

When he shares with me the millions he made in prior years , Ill give him a donation..Ooops, still waiting..

Dont forget he has to use the stupid tickets because the US Dollar is no longer leagal tender at musicfest. Oh and lets not forget how you can't get your money back in full if you don't use them all. You can only get partial and certain stores afterwards. What a joke of a festival it has become.

Don Cunningham (and his tone-deaf garage bandmates) LOVE Jeff Parks. Cunningham wanted to give each $30 refund to Parks. Luckily he was stopped.

I couldnt agree more with the sentiment gloriously expressed in the photo!

Isn't Jeff parks like the highest paid individual working for a "non-profit" organization? This is absolutely rediculous. The City of Bethlehem already provides a tremendous amount of cash for this evetn and that comes from me --- a taxpayer.

This whole thing is truly getting out of hand. He wants to control everything and in 28 years has no rainy day fund.

Fire him or make him cut his salary in half.

Normally you can judge a person by his enemies but since few on here have the courage of their convictions to "Take on" Mr. Parks by using their names I can assume that his opponents (here) are not really serious or thoughtful about ways to improve this organization.

Petty and snarky comments do not help and they do not hurt they just sit out there in a black hole of irrelevance.

Right "Donald", glad you have the courage of your convictions.

I have nothing against this dude making the salary he does. But if Artsquest just managed that new facility down there better, they could rake in the dough. The lineup post-Musikfest is pretty sad and will generate an anemic amount of revenue. Get a real promoter in there to bring in real acts that people will come from far and wide to see. It seems like they need to give away tickets to some of these lame shows just to make the artist feel better. Leverage what you have Parks. Oh, and that Steel Stage could be hosting concerts all summer long, not just during Musikfest.

Steel stacks is a great venue but despite jeff P nothing has been said about the problem getting top tier acts here in the valley due to clear channel and their ways to control where their concerts are allowed.
