|Mezzacappa with extremist Republicans|
Instead of calling themselves kooks, it's "Republican Action Team." Hmm. In other words, they're RATs. This faction of Republicans has worker bees like failed County Council and Borough Council candidate Tricia Mezzacappa. On what she calls a blog, she gloats that Ron Angle submitted no petitions. "Ron Angle WAS an incumbent. He is now a HAS BEEN (ROFLMAO)", she cackles.
Except she's wrong, as usual. According to the Department of State webpage, Ron Angle is among the Republican state committeemen seeking re-election. He confirmed that with me in a telephone call, too. So are incumbents Bob Kilbanks, Mary Barket, Brian Monahan, Peg Ferraro and Gloria Lee Snover. Newcomer Glenn Geissinger is also running. Contrary to what Mezzacappa states, Brian Monahan is not taking Angle's place on the ballot. He already had one of his own.
Extremist upstarts include Tony Simao, who is still bitter about his Bethlehem City Council loss. During that race, he was deeply offended when opponents discovered that he posted pictures of his weenie on gay sites.
He should be running for Congress.
The other extremist choices include Michael Morey (what is wrong with you, Mike?), Cynthia Anderson, Bryan Eichfeld, Linda Leewright and Joy Hemming.
Voters will pick three men and three women.
