Broughal to Tp: Don't Sue Over Community Center

Bethlehem Township Solicitor Jim Broughal is expected to advise Commissioners tonight against pursuing any claims related to the construction of the Community Center over ten years ago. The facility was built at a cost of $11 million, and just ten years later, needs $2 million in repairs.

"The chances of success are small and the cost to litigate could be substantial," he advised. He is, however, recommending that the Township pursue a 20-year warranty on the roof.

What is still unclear is whether any Township officials performed the required code inspections.

Time for a new township solicitor! Too many skeletons and afraid to name other lawyers or current and former clients?

And why is this unclear at this point???????

Check the shredder for the inspections or call John or Howard.

Because it is not addressed in the agenda, where the comments concerning Jim Broughal's report are included. I did file a separate RTK, but agreed to hold off until Broughal finished his research. I was then contacted and scheduled an appointment, but had to cancel bc I had some rush title work.

6:39, A township solicitor does not exist to do the popular thing. He exists to follow the law and give good legal advice. Broughal is one of the best. If you want someone to appease the mob and lose in court, I'm sure numerous shitty lawyers can fulfill that role.

Shitty lawyer was probably the former solicitor, Elliott...

Someone needs to check the relationship between Elliot and Nolan.
