City Solicitor's Law Offices Consumed By Flame
As pointed out by The Express Times, the Leeson law offices were heavily damaged by a fire early this morning. Bill Leeson is Bethlehem's City solicitor. His brother Jay has served as Solicitor and as a member of City Council. Fortunately, no one has been hurt. The fire was luckily confined to one building, although a second suffered smoke damage.

A lawyer had just undergone surgery and as he came out of the anesthesia, he said, "Why are all the blinds drawn, doctor?"
"There's a big fire across the street and we didn't want you to wake up and think the operation was a failure."
