No need to attend --- made up my mind based on Scavello voting to increase the gasoline tax. He doesn't deserve to win.

Yup. No pension reform, no property tax reform, and we still have soviet style liquor stores. Scavello is a tax and spend liberal. Republicans do not deserve to be in the majority in Hburg.

I hear you, 8:04.
He can go down in flames with Corbett.

I just filled up the tank in Phillipsburg --- $3.079/gallon for unleaded regular. That is a substantial savings when compared to the highly taxed PA price. There is no way Scavello should be elected --- God only knows what tax he will vote to implement next (for the good of the Commonwealth).

I am a lifelong Republican and there is no way I will be voting for Scavello because of his vote to increase the gasoline tax.

The price at WaWa on Easton Ave. in Bethlehem is $3.37/gal for regular times 15 gallons = $4.50 premium over the NJ price quoted by C.P.M. time 1 fill up /week = $234.00/year in more tax thanks to Scavello. The price at Giant in Bethlehem is $3.46/gallon.
Aurand has my vote for sure.

All this nonsense from the desperate Dem's. Mario will easily win by 5 points. You guys are funny.

Can one of you who said you won't vote for Scavello give me the formula to fix the collapsing bridges and portholes that lay as landmines on our state highways and roads. Go ahead, move to NJ and enjoy the taxes.

They raise the gasoline tax, Corbet signs and we have some of the highest cost gasoline in the country yet there is little to no tax on the natural gas drillers. Corbett and this Scavello will not win and in fact get crushed in this election.

"Can one of you who said you won't vote for Scavello give me the formula to fix the collapsing bridges and portholes that lay as landmines on our state highways and roads?"

Sure. Repealing the prevailing wage law would make bridge and road repair much more affordable. That is what a conservative would support. Scavello is a tax and spend union establishment Republican liberal.

Correct 7:34 am -- it's far easier to raise the gas tax. Tackling the root cause might put him in trouble with his union buddies -- you know the union road crews you pass every day that are standing around talking while supposedly on the job.

Scavello brags that by repealing the prevailing wage law, municipalities can save money. He voted for repeal as part of the gas-tax-increase bill. Aurand is NOT in favor of repealing the prevailing wage law.
