John Stoffa for Sam Murray |
His major contributors?
Trade unions - $2,750
Herb Litvin (Easton attorney) - $700
Lenny Mellon (Easton attorney and close friend) - $950
Ray Lahood (Easton attorney who got his start with Sam) - $850
Bob Nitchkey (Easton attorney and close friend) - $600
Much of Murray's money - $10,125 - comes in the form of contributions of $250 or less. A lot of contributors are members of the local bar, who often give to both candidates, and that certainly is so here.
By way of full disclosure, I contributed $75 to Sam's campaign.

Im voting for Murray and its the first time as a republican im gonna vote for a democrat.
You see they had this scum bag calling - a former law enforcement officer telling how good Vic Scomillio is....... well when I heard this known jerk/scum bag on my home phone I know im gonna vote for Murray. PSP knew what a dirt bag he is and so does the slate belt......
So Judge Murray it will be!
Who really cares that Stoffa ahhas a Murray sign? Being that he is anti-Gracedale I don't see how that helps Murray with many voters. You love Stoffa but many voters are not big fans of the guy, so his endorsement means little if not a real negative.
do not make fun of Bernie's man crushes, even if it's the truth
Most of those who work at Gracedale would vote for Stoffa again. In polling, he always rates high. Once the people decided to keep Gracedale, he did everything he could to implement their will and make it work. He is a man of integrity, a rare commodity in a politician. But haters are gonna' hate.
Stoffa would have won a third term if he ran. Johnny Casino would have lost in the primary and Brown the Clown would have dragged his tail back to Bangor. Stoffa had garnished a lot of good will and respect during his terms in office. He did the right thing in trying to sell Gracedale, but when this plan was revoked by the voters, he did the right thing in trying to improve the facility and growing its census. But any time Stoffa is mentioned on this blog, his detractors jump all over it. They just can't let go hating the guy. What a dismal life they must lead.
"Stoffa would have won a third term if he ran."
Bwhaaaaaaa!!!
Keep telling yourself that. The guy was despised, except for the Gracedale dumpers. We all see how well they did in the plebiscite. You guys are hilarious. People don't hate Stoffa they just see him as irrelevant and point that out to readers so they know that you three folks are just that. Revise history all you want you are only united by your hatred of Gracedale.
Scomillio owes the taxpayers $300,000.00 as of now. How much will it actually cost us after the woman he fired wrongfully, wins her appeal? PAY THE TAXPAYERS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY BACK SCOMILLIO! Taxpayers need to Pay him back on Election Day! Arrogant Attorney just used the position to run for JUDGE!
3:47, sounds like you need your diaper changed. The only people who "despised" Stoffa were angry little pinheads like you.
You mention indirect donations by JB Reilly in your latest post attempting to smear Scomillio. Any report on donations made by class-act developer Abe Atyieh?
No. Abe knows he is under scrutiny and will not be making donations for awhile. Nor would Sam accept it.
