Bethlehem Police Seek Golf Cart Thief - At approximately 6:45am Oct 4, an unidentified male (race unknown) stole a golf cart from the Field House at Northeast Middle School. A witness reported seeing the golf cart driving in the area of Minsi Trail St., across E. Washington Ave., and then proceed east on Walters St. An item from the golf cart was located in the area of Walters St. and Carlisle St.

The male is described as having dark hair, approximately 5'9'' to 6', appears to be in his 20's to 30's, and was wearing a grey long sleeved shirt or jacket, tan pants, and white sneakers. The golf cart is white in color with a white roof. It is missing the front bumper and has a Bethlehem Steel "I-Beam" sticker located on it.

At the time of the theft, the male was carrying a brown cardboard box which he placed on the back of the golf cart. Anyone with information relating to the male or the location of the golf cart, please contact the Officer Sam Elias #343 at the non-emergency number, 610-865-7187.

Lower Saucon Police Detain Two Juveniles in Two Separate terroristic threat incidents. The first, on Sep 28, involved a 14 yo male who was swinging a pipe at his father and had damaged property. The second, on Sep. 29, occurred in Steel City. A 16 yo male pointed a BB gun from his car at another person. Both juveniles ended up at the detention facility.

Colonial Regional Police "Safety Alert." - On 10/5/18, CRPD took a report in the 500 block of Georgetown Road in Lower Nazareth Township of two suspicious black males in a white van. The males made contact with a resident at his home and were able to talk the homeowner into walking out into the backyard to discuss installing a fence for a neighbor. The homeowner was smart enough to lock his front door first before going to the backyard. He also knew that his neighbor had no plans to install a fence.
While one of the males was in the backyard, the other waited outfront in the driveway and attempted to enter the home but couldn't because the front door was locked. Moments later, the male in the backyard received a phone call and then the pair fled the scene in their van. No other description was available.
Please remember to ask for identification and do not let anyone in your home that you are not familiar with. When in doubt, the police can always be called to investigate. If you live in our jurisdiction or any surrounding community and you have experienced a similar incident, you are asked to report them through our dispatch center at 610-759-2200.
