The Republicans' Kane Strategy

Republican AG candidate John Rafferty was in town over the weekend. He's also a state senator, and told a group of fellow Republicans why Kathleen Kane is still in office. It's because that's where Republicans want her. They don't want her to drown until she does as much damage as can possibly be done to Democrats seeking office this year.

Kane should be impeached, it is important to send the message that attorney Generals , whether state or Federal, have a responsibility to the citizens to uphold the laws of the state or federal government, they are not protectors of those that appointed them or of their party, this is the worst form of government corruption. They are supposed to be independent and uphold all the laws of the state. If citizens accept this as just the way it is, then this corruption will go on and get worse.

Then Kane is doing a fine job. Her mentor is Hillary Clinton and she's acting just like her. With any luck she'll drag out her removal until her term would normally end and remind all voters what to expect when they vote Democratic.

this passes as a real story? another hard hitting report.
no mention that wolf asked her to step down as did some of the others in the democrat/socialist/progressive party.

Kane is one vindictive _________ (fill in blank).

Have any local state representatives or state senators called for her resignation? Where do they stand?

If we didn't know about this scandal, would we even know what the Attorney General does? Maybe it's time to rethink why we need someone in this position anyway?

Not really a story, but political gossip.

Most Democrats strongly support her. It's a blue state. She'll survive and thrive. If she ran for Governor or Senate, she'd win in a landslide. Personal and professional indiscretions are only the concern of a minority of political opponents. Staying true to Democratic Party principles and initiatives is why she's so loved.

It's all the result of a vast right-wing conspiracy. Besides, it's old news, and at this point, what difference does it make?

I am a Democrat who voted for her, both in the primary and general election. I thought she would be a good check on a Republican-dominated Governor and legislature. She started out well, but allowed her personal animosity to interfere with good judgment, and then began ignoring good advice. She has become irrational and is precisely the kind of person I would not like to see in office. I know many Democrats who share my view.

WE all know where Kane was born but where was Cruz born? Show us the birth certificate.

I haven't seen Kane's birth certificate, either. She appears to be the spawn of Satan. I think it's time she produce a birth certificate.

Cruz was born in Canada to an American citizen. I'm sure the brilliant legal scholars who populate this blog can figure out what that means.

anon 3:07 to the teabaggers it meant that Barak Obama was a Kenyan sleeper agent. Even though he proved he was born in the US, the hue and cry went on and on. So far the nonpartisan teaparty has been oddly silent about Teddy Cruz.

That is one of many reasons no one takes them seriously even with a hot mess like Kane.

Bernie,

I agree with what you said there.

According to the founding fathers and the originalist view ascribed to by Cruz he is not a natural born citizen.
