Dave was a great guy. We were all lucky to know him.

He had just lost 30 pounds by changing his diet and exercising. He seemed to be in the best health of his life. Does anybody have any details?

I'm shocked! I just had lunch there Friday. He seemed well and happy as always.

The table of wisdom is no more. Many a day I sat at the table with Dave in his store. May he RIP. He truly loved his City of Bethlehem.

I am so sorry to hear this. I didn't know him well, but our house is just down the street from the deli, and I know he loved election day. Several election days ago, we were canvassing and stopped in at Lumps for a snack and got a reception that was even friendlier than usual. I am sorry that won't happen tomorrow.

Kim, He was one of my favorite guys, even though he and I were never really on the same page. I should have sat more at the Table of Knowledge.

I wish my schedule had allowed me to stop by the deli more often, but on the few times I was able to get there and chit-chat he was always a great character, really cared about the city, may he rest in peace.

They say only the "Good Die Young" What a crying shame!....Dave was a fine upstanding Gentleman....And you are right He Loved Bethlehem.
I knew him for many years prior to selling my last business venture. From when he first bought the Deli.
He was good customer, and a good friend.
