Judge Craig Dally has agreed to give Northampton County a little more time to settle a payraise dispute with 15 magisterial district court employees who were denied a 4.5% salary increase despite an unanimous Council resolution that was proposed by Executive John Brown. Bethlehem Attorney Chris Spadoni, who represents these workers, told the Court that settlement negotiations are under way.
It won't be much of a raise. At their last meeting, Council voted along party lines to rescind the April payhike because Brown claimed he had made a mistake. That effectively gutted Spadoni's lawsuit.
Judge Dally also directed the County to answer Spadoni's Complaint.

The county didn't even have the professionalism to answer the complaint. Dolts. Brown screwed these employees around, and then council votes along party lines to f*(@ these people up the (Q)!R+.
A couple more years of this idiot and his administration until we can unceremoniously kick his rear end out the back door. That's the only thing to settle at this point.
Give me a break !! Now you have to sue to get a raise. They said no raise what else is there to say?? They need to grow up. For christ sake it was a mistake.
John Brown. Oops the dog ate my resolution. Drafted by Allen, reviewed by Scomillio, approved by Brown. Great "collaborative effort; corporate efficiency at its finest!
