You Can Now Register to Vote Online in Pa

If you want to vote in November, it is now possible to register online in Pennsylvania. This was one of Governor Tom Wolf's campaign promises. The Keystone State is the 23rd to take advantage of the Internet, which confirms identity through examination of driver licenses. In addition to registering, the Pa. Online Voter Registration site can be used to update addresses, names and party affiliation.

The last day to register to vote for this November's election is October 5.

Great info, thanks Bernie. It's about time they allowed people to register online.

Now We can get more ineligible people to register.

It's early yet....but I knew there would be at least ONE IDIOT (8:29am) to comment that On-Line Registration would cause "ineligible people to register".....The Right Wing LOVES to tout that inaccurate propaganda to prevent voting.

One of the arguments in favor of voter ID is that people have to show ID for even the most routine of transactions. But we also know that people can conduct fairly sophisticated transactions on the Internet, including banking, online purchases and taxes. There is no reason why people should be barred from registering to vote online.

Heck, you can apply for citizenship online. Voting is a kids game compared to that

There are many idiots out there Who don't want on-line voter registration.Voting fraud occurs everywhere but D.A.'s don't prosecute

Voter fraud does NOT occur "everywhere". Voter fraud is extremely rare. I'm delighted to see on-line voter registration. Now, if we could have early voting, or have Election Day on a weekend, I be even happier.

We need to encourage voter participation, not suppress it.
