A reader has asked me to post Officer Stephen Schleig's lawsuit against Nazareth. Below you will see his Complaint, which was filed earlier this month.
I wish my friend all the luck in the world. What has been written in this suit is absurd and very disturbing. It's time for the Borough residents to finally come forward and oust Troxell and Trachta.
Tricia Mezzacappa, As I told you before, there is no 7-11 in Nazareth. This lawsuit is completely independent of the action you can expect from the Sticker Gang, Now go take your drug cocktail.
But not the Sticker Gang. Those are mostly high school kids you are slamming. You should be looking at yourself. You lost your car and are going to lose your house. I suspect you are going to jail in the criminal case, and have even drawn your mother into your web of lies.
I took the time to read this lawsuit in its entirety and I ask myself now, why? All of the allegations provided in this suit sound like an employee who is disgruntled because he is being reprimanded due to his stupidity! The rest of the allegations sound more like this officer did not get his way in certain circumstances ! I am sure this will be a career ender ! So I ask myself what is the anterior motive behind it??????
Anyone who "puts money on Jim's books" is throwing good money after bad. His own lawyer doesn't want to represent him anymore, and so Jimbo is going pro se like the crazy wench comrade that pleaded above that you donate to his cause, and who is on the verge of going to prison herself.
Jim could have shown remorse and gotten himself out of prison early, but he appears to enjoy being a moron and remaining in the company of smelly criminals and rats than in gaining his freedom. He can rot right where he is - sending money will go to no cause other than him paying to use the phone to cry on MezzaCrazy's shoulder.
Clearly you read it, but you missed the entire comprehension of the suit. The suit has made very clear points of anti union animosity. In the suit it shows other cases where this officer was involved with and won in arbitration hearings. (Appears to be several.) After speaking with Officer Koch, there are almost 19 arbitration award where the Nazareth Borough has lost in arbitration. Mostly involving what you are claiming to be "reprimands" for the officer's "stupidity". The only apparent stupidity coming from Nazareth Borough. Apparently is from the lack of legal counsel, lack of action from Nazareth Borough council to remove Trachta and Troxell from the department. The stupidity would be the fact the they have lost 19 times and counting in arbitration hearings. Meaning the union has won and the Borough has been found to be at fault and in error in their actions against their officers.
Again according to Officers in this department, every act in which this officer alleges (however minor) comes within days of a union activities followed by retaliation because of it.
Good luck Officer Schleigh......take these people to the bank!!!!!
Bernie, is it true that police officers from CRPD filed suit against Nazareth Borough like 10 years ago. Including the current Chief and Deputy Chief of CRPD. I also heard that a few years again the Deputy Chief was asked to come over as the New Chief of NBPD. Funny.......how come he sued Nazareth Borough, then they turned around and offered him a job with more money and a better title?
Why are they doing this to their current officers?
The story aboiut the lawsuit is true, but had nothing to do with any wrong doing by the Borough. It was a mechanism to validate the transfer of their accrued pensions from Nazareth to Colonial's pension plan. A subsequent court order did approve of the transfer of the accrued funds. End of story.

Oh the drama, oh the pathos. How about cloeani8ng up the check stealers and druggies at the 7-11. All Nazareth homeowners would like that.

Well the 7-11 isn't technically in the borough but pretty darn close. I would agree that there are some interesting characters that hang around
