RIP Chyss Buchman

Chryss Buchman, Northampton County's Conservation District Manager, died unexpectedly yesterday morning. She had arrived at work early, around 7:30 am, and apparently collapsed while still holding her purse. He co-workers found her when they arrived about 45 minutes later, and sought medical assistance. She was 59. The exact cause of her death will be determined by an autopsy. All County employees have been notified of this unfortunate tragedy.

I oppose prayer before public meetings, but would hope that Council Prez John Cusick would skip his usual tripe for a moment of silence in honor of a County worker.
