Make Your Last-Minute Pitches Here!
My mom always wanted me to be a judge. I am, too. An elections judge. I'll be working the polls today in Hanover Township, and it is very difficult to go online from my polling place. So you will be spared my last minute pitches. Please feel free to make your arguments for or against any of the candidates seeking election today. Let us know where you voted and what turnout is like. If you see anything out of the ordinary, post it here. If I can get on during the day, I will More likely, I will be back in action very late tonight.

if you're a Democrat vote Bernie Sanders and his delegates and Joe Sestak for US Senate. If you're a Republican vote Ben Long for State Representative in the 132nd District. All of them stand for honest government.
Ben Long is only in it for the show. Ben has never been a hard worker. He only wants to make sure that he gets his pic taken with politicians so he can brag about it. He doesn't listen to good advice! His attention span is short! These are not good qualities for a state rep.
If you are in PA-131, please write in Joanne Jackson for State Rep! There's no Dem on the ballot, so you've got to write her in to get her on the ballot in the fall! Thanks!
If your a real democrat (not an easy on dem) Vote for the only candidate who truly supports labor and working people's issues. Vote Hillary
Bill Coyle in the 131st. Let Simmons and Jackson fight out the Democratic write in. Priceless.
Four robo calls last night. Dent for Kasich, Heidi for Ted, two for locals that were totally garbled, low budget I guess. TV and radio ads, plus robo calls fascinating after being ignored previously.
I hope the exposure of repup convention rules lead to changes, but probably not.
Bern - what precinct in Hanover? How does someone from Nazareth get to work in another township?
Gary W. Gorman writes:
I am a Democrat, but often cross party lines in the general election. However, in the primary, I refuse to write in Simmons on the Democratic ticket. He is a Tea-party obstructionist who broke his promise to us about term limits. And, I write this in clear conscience as I have voted for him in the past, and he will probably pick up another term due to gerrymandering.
I love Bernie Sanders, but can't throw my vote away like I did with Ralph Nader in 2000. My slogan, "A vote for Hillary is a vote for Bill".
Dave Mattei...you can count on my write-in...Tom Davis
Ill take a short attention span in Ben Long. He is the lesser of 2 idiots.
Also noticed you could vote to send "delegates" to the convention. Jenn Mann was on the list. She loves a free ticket!!!!
Can Hillary have Bill has her VP? Essentially, is there a chance Bill could be president again if something catastrophic were to happen to, if elected, President Hillary?
Gary W. Gorman answers:
8:58: No. Bill has been asked this questions many times and his answer remains no saying that although the Constitution doesn't ban it specifically, "the spirit of the Law doesn't allow it" for the reason/question you ask above, and "it would never hold up in Court".
Coyle picks off Simmons. The whole Simmons cartel is shocked, including Bernie O. In a fit of rage Simmons' father gets 3 to 5 for assaulting an Emmaus HS student with a Vote for Bill Coyle button on his backpack. The End.
I will be voting for John Kasich for president and DEFINITELY Bill Coyle for state representative of district 131!!
We're in the 131st District and voted for Simmons and Trump, although if Coyle wins I would support him in the fall. I like Kasich but he has no chance. Also voted for Rafferty for AG.
@9:22 AM Actually Bill Clinton could serve as Vice-President. That is not limited by the 22nd Amendment. However, he could only serve up to 24 months as President and then he would have to resign if Hillary were forced to resign or to die in office.
Any time remaining until the next Presidential election would then be filled by the Speaker of the House of Representatives who would become President. That would be Paul Ryan.
Whatever committee Donna Baran was running for, she might come in 10th behind write ins even though she is the only one on the ballot. I could not imagine under any circumstance pulling the lever for that troll.
Vote for Cartwright and make American smug, rude, heartless, and inconsiderate again!
A vote for Joe "the asshole" Emrick is a vote for an arrogant ego maniac asshole who doesn't belong in office and should slither back into the classroom where he can mooch from that piggy trough
From Coopersburg, 131st district. Many showing up at the wrong polling station and being sent on their way. Family of 5 with 3 voters. 3 votes for Coyle.
Voted for Hillary and all of her delegates. Bethlehem Township, no one waiting in line at all.
Also voted for Sestak and Cartwright.
To the Trump voters: bwahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!! morons.
My polling place is Northeast Middle School. No issues and no line when I was there voting this afternoon, but the volunteers indicated that the machines were malfunctioning in the early AM hours when the polls first opened, and lines built up as they attempted to fix the machines to work properly.
Feel the Bern!
Vote for Bernie Sanders. he is the only Democrat that can beat Trumpet and slimy Ted in the Fall. He has a vision of a just and decent America for the 21st century. The others want 13th century Europe.
Bernie Sanders a human for President!
There's been 23 comments so far. So OK.. who's changed their minds?
NOT A DAMN ONE I BET!
I cannot vote for Ted Cruz. His resemblance to a cuddle fish is far to creepy.
@4:00 You're correct. No matter what party you support, I'd bet that 95% of the people who vote today made up their mind weeks ago.
If I were running for political office, one of the things I would NEVER DO is eat on camera
What will happen this fall is that millions of Democratic voters will stay home rather than vote for Hillary. Hillary is going to be defeated badly.
I voted for Brown! Get his ass out of northampton county!
The constitutional amendment 22 limits a president to 10 years. Bill Clinton could legally be a VP b/c he has 2 yrs eligibility but it's only an academic issue since it will never happen.
Voted at Bushkill Twp school at around 6; a primarily R district. Long lines. Longer than the '08 general, I think. Was in the mid 820s with a long line behind me. Wow. It's a primary?
Toomey is toast. He barely won on 2010 a big Republican year with Corbett et al. McGuimty or Sestak doesn't matter he's done voters will catch on to his ultra conservative votes
It looks like a blowout for Trump. He should win here and the four other states tonight with > 60% of the vote.
Now is the time to unite to defeat Hillary Clinton.
Dream. Trump will be easy to beat.
Sanders should absolutely run as an Independent candidate. The Clinton machine completely robbed him. He never had a chance even though the majority of Democrats really want to see him run more than they want Hillary Clinton.
Run Bernie...run.!
Hillary and Trump will be the nominees. Jesus H Christ, this country is a dung heap.
-Clem
If Trump is denied the Republican nomination he will run as an Independent!
Gary W. Gorman imagines...
Wouldn't it be 'funny' if The RCN chooses Cruz and their candidate for a Cruz/Clinton race and then both Trump and Sanders launch independent campaigns.
Sheeesh!
