Allentown Comm Chief to Depart
Michael Hilbert, head of Allentown's 911 Center, is resigning. No, he's not being indicted. From what I understand, he has been offered a good job in the private sector. Given the state's desire to see Allentown and Bethlehem merge with other 911 centers, this is probably the right move. I heard he was excellent in Allentown, so the City is losing a good employee.

Methlehem LOL - that could very well be true. You never know with this admin and council
Mike Hilbert is the most dedicated public servant I've ever known....and I only know him personally through his in-laws. I don't know where he is going next, but wherever it is they are lucky to have him.
Good luck to Mike Hilbert
A good guy found a way off the sinking ship.
I wish him well.
It's not even funny that you have to write "No he's not being indicted." What a city.
A class act and one of Allentown’s finest employees. Loyal, honest, dedicated. I had the pleasure to work with Mike when I worked for the people of the City and I am happy to see him leave for his next challenge. Good luck Mike! (And thanks for covering this Bernie)
Another Pawloswski person for Northampton County? Is our county the dumping ground?
I believe I stated that he is going into the private sector. No need to create controversy where none exists.
Mike is a first rate employe and a class act
