Republicans MIA at LWV Meet and Greet

Republican state house candidates were MIA at a Candidates' Night hosted by the League of Women Voters last night at Northampton Community College. So was the public. Aside from politicos associated with various campaigns, nobody was there. I did see one or two students drop by, but they just grabbed refreshments and quickly left.

Seems that the best way to reach voters is the television commercial. No better way to assess a candidate than in person though. Isn't that one of the reasons for Wolf's bus tour?

Same 2 students grew up in Fountain Hill, rode the St Lukes hospital elevator going floor to floor seeking out the goodie baskets meant for patients and their caring families. That was dinner!

LWV is irrelevant and no woman under 50 listens to their opinion any longer. I can't believe that anybody at all showed up at this waste of time.

I would be interested in an online debate (I'm younger, so sue me). Where we can interact with a candidate directly, and they don't have to put on a tie (or pants!). Win win.

Who do women under 50 listen to?

Democracy is broken---locally and nationally.

DONT FORGET TO VOTE!

For who?
