Perfect.
Brown and the Hotels oweners are on the same page.
This should be a one minute speech! Almost everything this moron does is non-transparent.
How much will this event cost the taxpayers?
8:18, As I note in my post, the event is free. This is your chance for free breakfast at Hotel Bethlehem!
can't be much of a breakfast lasting only 1/2 hr
I believe he means with Northampton County taxpayers footing the bill, what would be the total amount.
LVEDC is footing the bill.
itsnt the Lehigh valley economic board wholly subsidized by hotel tax?
Not wholly. Partially.
Tell Cunningham to find some industry for the Slate Belt with the $$$ instead of funding this. How is this in the realm of their objective?
Cunningham has probably found more jobs in the slate belt than all of his predecessors combined. Last year, I published a story with the specifics. I am glad he is doing this. Everyone knows their Mayor, but county government is the forgotten government even though it has more impact on your life.
Sorry Bernie he has not. Name one place he has brought jobs to the Slate Belt and specifically the eastern part. Is he responsible for the proposed sludge plant in Plainfield?
A link to my story about what Cunningham has done in NC, including the slate belt - http://bethlehem.thelehighvalleypress.com/2016/05/17/cunningham-manufacturing-alive-and-well-lehigh-valley-0
Read the article and remember reading it before. I see nowhere jobs brought to the Slate Belt only a mention we have a lot of vacant buildings available. Cunningham has done ok for the Allentown Bethlehem area but honestly nothing for the Northern Tier.
Should have it at NCC as in the past. More centrally located, plenty of parking, and helps an educational faculty, not a frickin hotel.
