Candidate Training Sessions Offered By PSU and Tea Party

If you've never run for office before, you might want to consider a training session being offered by Penn State Extension. It's a two-hour class on February 9, between 7 and 9 pm, at Penn State Lehigh Valley, 2809 Saucon Valley Rd, Rm 222, Center Valley, Pa. 18034. Click on this link if you're interested in running.

The local tea party is offering a training session, too. It's tonight, and free. It's a Hyatt Place (45 West North St) in Bethlehem, and starts at 7 pm.

According to their Chair, Tom Campione, "most school boards and most municipal councils are controlled by progressives" and "[w]e cannot sit back and expect a Trump administration to do it all." He claims that "just 2 or 3 people on a board or council can stop this rapid progression toward socialism."

I don't know about you, but I always suspected that Dale Colver (Palmer), John N. Diacogiannis (Hanover), Mike Hudak (Bethlehem Tp) and Jim Pennington (Lower Nazareth) were pinko commies. And the seven-member GOP majority on NorCo Council are just waiting for the word from Kim Jong-Un, Sun of the Communist Future, so they can unfurl the hammer and sickle.

If you can make it tonight, Campione wants you to register here, so they can keep track of you.

Make the Lehigh Valley great again.

As far as I know, I'm unaware of any local government engaged in owning businesses or local industry. So this gentleman really needs to educate himself before he spouts nonsense in the public arena about having "socialists" in our local government, or dictators such as Kim Jong-Unm or Mao, or Stalin or anyone else. Both ends of the political spectrum have extremists, and they tend to make the most noise. To me, these are the most repulsive members of both the political left and right.

I do wish Allentown had true conservatives in the Republican Party, or an effective Republican Party at all, however the fact of life is that they've all left for the townships over the years due to the long-lasting policies of Mayor Daddona, whose policies changed the culture and demographics of the City for the foreseeable future. What we do have are the big-government types which have given us the NIZ and the government wanted by the majority of residents who look forwards to their government check each month.

To be successful in the public arena, the bottom line and cardinal rule is to give the people you wish to govern what they want. Ed's been doing that for over a decade now, and that's why he's a three-term mayor. Minor corruption issues notwithstanding. The only thing Ed needs to do (besides get an acquittal) is to learn Spanish and he'll be Allentown's Mayor for the next 20 years. The City Council may not like him, but outside of the people who monitors government, nine out of ten Allentonians can't name a single council member. But they all know who Ed Pawlowski is.

For sure enough real...

Will he explain to us how tea party republicans like their hero Hayden Phillips run as a conservatives then raise taxes by 10% in their first year? Can he explain why Mr. Phillips himself wanted a 20% raise in county taxes. I am sure that will not be discussed. So I guess the topic will be how to sound like a tough talking conservative then tax the people once your elected.

A good seminar on "Alternative Facts" will probably explain it all.

Bernie,
ItZ too early in the morning for jokes butt hell why not have a sexaully disoriented one like the supisid bearded fatlady and itZ suposid other half run for political offices of athuority! Than again the triboro and itZ collective county circus carnival can only be played out upon innocent indigent children that are nieve to this band of sorcery and devil worship that traumatizes and terrorize!
By the way no storyline for picture sent to you with quote "Let My People Go?" That and the Sunday morning church services would make for a tall tail written by you on how we are all praying your opinions is soon to make a comeback!

Laugh if you must. Resort to hammer and sickle hyperbole if it salves the wounds. But conservative grass roots organizations have been hard at work cleaning their opposition's clocks for the last eight years. Nationally, Republicans gained over 900 state legislative seats and even more local ones. As Dizzy Dean said, "It ain't braggin' if you can do it." Now, back to your regularly scheduled insulting characterizations and stock insults ... While you're throwing poop from your cages, the other side is working, working, working.

The fact is that you have no idea what you are talking about. In other words, you are ignorant. That is no insult, but fact. The vast majority of municipal government leaders are far and away both conservative and Republican. NorCo Council and Lehigh County Comm'rs are both R. The only place that changes is in Easton, Bethlehem and Allentown. So basically, you called the vast majority of local government leaders, many of whom are conservative themselves, progressives who are hell-bent on promoting a socialist agenda. I don't care how hard you work. Ignorance is still ignorance. But that is no surprise from Campione.

Will the Ridge St Stunner be in attendence?

I believe the Tea Party event is free and the PSU event has a $15 registration fee. Please, just stating factual information. Don't spend time and energy "reading between the lines". No conspiracy theories or political commentaries intended or implied.

Bernie O'Hare said...

Jeff, I am reporting precisely what Campione said in his email to the faithful.

Keep whining while they keep winning.

Bernie O'Hare said...

I am hardly whining. I am pointing accurately to the total ignorance displayed by Campione. He apparently has no idea that most people in local government are already quite conservative.

But have they kisses d the teabagger ring? They are mainly tax and spenders but they must abhor bathroom laws and planned parenthood. then they can get elected raise taxes and still be teaparty sweethearts.

I just want to know how gets the golden teabag award for 2016.

Just as the far left holds Democrats' feet to the fire, so too the far right. Northampton County's alleged conservatives have raised taxes. Stoffa was more fiscally conservative. Grassroots initiatives are often met with disdain. The Tea Party was called Astroturf before it was called inconsequential before it was called dangerous. Same for BLM. You lean toward defending the establishment because these are your peeps and you interact with them regularly. That's understandable.

Bernie,
Far left and right has nothing to do with today's theft of services rendered and the fictitiously faked cash put to print as if it's somewhere safe when the fact is that's just a number put to paper? I have said it before and will say it again theft from a d or a r is still and always has been a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment!

Imagine being the watcher that that watches the watchers, shit itZ probably better being one of the gloryhole gathererZ behind the stall wallZ?

Bernie, could you interpret anon 3:47? What is all that about and what does astroturf have to do with anything?

Bernie O'Hare said...

I think he's suggesting the tea party was initially dismissed as inconsequential. That's certainly true. I am told I tend to support people in the establishment. That is somewhat, but not entirely, accurate as a criticism of me. It's also no justification for making the false statements Campione did.

Bernie, I would respond in depth, but I’m too busy building a politically powerful organization to gain our fair share of elected seats across the Valley. BTW: thanks for advertising our seminar. It was sold out! :-)

Bernie O'Hare said...

Considering there was no fee you would've been sold out at zero . Any organization built on lies is destined to collapse from a lousy foundation

Unknown said...

Ha, ha, ha.... you are so funny. You could have been a good stand up comedian. Really!

Bernie O'Hare said...

You would not and told a bunch of lies in your email, or as you might call them, alternative facts.

knew you'd reply. Like a woman I know well, you must have the last word. She too never really does much, just sits and complains.

Anyone with half a brain sees that Lehigh Valley is governed by a majority of progressives. We will end that. It may take a few cycles, but finally, we are in the game. And, we will win.

This is my last comment on the matter, so go ahead, be the lady I described above and have the last word... :-)

PS: deleted post above was me, inadvertently logged in from a different account

Bernie O'Hare said...

Now Tom Campione attempts to denigrate me by comparing me to a woman he knows well. Anyone with half a brain knows you are a liar. The rest are in the tea party. In addition to being a liar, you are also a sexist.

How does Tom defend the tax and spend policies of the tea party republicans that were voted on county council four years ago?
