Tales of Trachta: What is a UNB or UNIT?
"Hey, there's a UNB at Main and Belvidere."
"Watch out for the UNIT in the circle."
According to Google, UNB is the Universidade de Brasilia. But according to other police officers, UNB is an unwanted n---er in the Borough, and UNIT is an unwanted n---er in Town.
Very funny, isn't it?
The common perception is that Nazareth is the most bigoted community in the Lehigh Valley. I feel pretty bad when I hear this because I know it's untrue. But this hurts Nazareth's image.
Though this is what I was told by other officers, even I have a hard time believing anyone could be this stupid.
I told Council last night that if they don't take control of the police department, the District Attorney might look into this matter. His Investigating Grand Jury can do a lot more with what these police officers have told me than I can do here.
Let me also tell you that Borough Council listened attentively while I and others spoke, including Trevor Stickers Gehret. President Dan Chiavaroli has forwarded my complaints to the Law Committee. Mayor Carl R. Strye Jr. told me he is investigating the complaints I made about Officer Eric "light this fucker up" Schwab, but he had several police matters that actually have more urgency at this time. I can believe him.
The good news is that, thanks to the 108 signatures that my Fire Trachta petition garnered in just one day, MoveOn is considering paying up to $1,000 for Trevor Gehret's legal fees.
Incidentally, Chief Trachta had two opportunities to respond to my attacks last night. He chose to remain silent. Privately, he had told Gehret that I am a "liar" and a "drunk." But when directly confronted last night, the bully had nothing to say.
