Another Kidspeace Protest?

Lat Sunday, the Ronnie DelBacco whackos converged at KidsPeace's doorstep in Salisbury Township and made a bunch of already abused children, most of them incidentally American, feel worse about themselves. Are they planning a repeat?

That's what the Lehigh Valley Industrial Workers of the World claims. "Once again, the racist Tea Party and the PA "State Militia" are going to protest again outside of Kidspeace Bethlehem campus (1650 Broadway Bethlehem, PA) this Sunday, July 27th. This Starts at 11am."

The main page of the LV Tea Party web page does contain a message advising of a rally on Sunday, but I think that's from last week. There has been no chatter about any rally this Sunday.

I'm pretty sure my European ancestors came unannounced and by today's standards, illegally. I'm sure yours did too. You are no patriot. You are a racist blowhard.

Perhaps a better target to protest would be your legislators. Rather than protesting a bunch of children. The children will be dealt with according to the laws of our country.

This action outside of Kidspeace serves no purpose other than to embarrass and degrade the children all in order for a few select individuals to be the center of attention of 15 minutes.

Sorry if my cynical side comes out, but this issue has been ignored for years by the political center (maybe because many have conflicting personal views, so avoid dealing with the larger immigration debate). So that now leaves the voices of the R and L wings to co-opt the debate?? Tea Party protesters(who sound rather John Birch Society on immigration issues) hunting down busses of kids on one side, and now the IWW is getting into the act on the left? As many TP-folks follow a particularly idealized vision of American capitalism and exceptionalism, the IWW is more warped on the other end of the spectrum. From the national IWW's preamble:

“The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life. .... Instead of the conservative motto, ‘A fair day’s wage for a fair day’s work,’ we must inscribe on our banner the revolutionary watchword, ‘Abolition of the wage system.’ ... It is the historic mission of the working class to do away with capitalism (and) ... to carry on production when capitalism shall have been overthrown. By organizing industrially we are forming the structure of the new society within the shell of the old.”

This will be my only comment.

It's a good observation.

Bernie, how many children are you planning to suffer unto you?

I sacrificed years of my adult life helping to care for a child to whom I am not related, the child of a foreign refugee. I have watched him grow from baby to the fine young man he is today. I spent money making sure he had good education, clothing and food. I am still doing so. You make a mistake challenging me on this point.

Yeah. We know all about your charity because you tell us all the time.

"Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

Matthew 6:1-4

I was actually wondering if anyone knew of any efforts to support these children in terms of clothing, toys, food? Regardless of whatever your political beliefs, they are children in need in a very traumatizing situation. I have several beloved nieces and nephews who have been adopted from Guatemala, Peru and Mexico and though they are much loved and cared for, still the transition is very difficult.

Helene, I am aware of some organization, but they are based in AZ. i will look for something more local.

I commend the IWW.

If any TP person takes the bait and shows up at this open-border rally, you're a fool.

What is a "TP person"?

Did anyone ever figure out HOW MUCH all this "caring" and "compassion" is going to cost?

Or it is ALL about tugging at heart strings???

The Tea Party is in no way associated with any militia groups to my knowledge. I follow them on line and haven't seen any indication of a protest this coming week. Though you may disagree with some of their views, I doubt that they would associate with any group calling themselves militant. Agree or disagree, the TP always seems to at least be non-violent and respectful of the law. I've never seen any police reports accusing them locally of any wrong doing.

I find this extremely hard to believe. Your history shows your selfishness and disregard for them. But then again, when money is involved, you'll do anything for that money. I mean after all, isn't the government paying about $72,000 annually to care for these illegal immigrants?

But then, these illegal immigrants were able to come up with $5,000-$10,000 per person to illegally enter the United States. Then enter illegally with their hands out expecting to given everything. The citizens of the United States have a hard time coming up with that, and their government is slapping them in the face by not giving the US citizens what they NEED to survive. They give everything to illegals.

"Marcos and Crisly, Ana and Blanca, Fabiola and Maria Antonia.

The youths were among 20 from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala who were set to appear in federal immigration court Tuesday for initial deportation hearings. But they weren’t there — 18 of the children whose cases were set to be heard didn’t show up Tuesday for court.

It was an absentee rate that federal Immigration Judge Michael Baird said was “highly unusual,” so high that he reset the hearings for Aug. 11 rather than possibly issuing a deportation order."

This was so unexpected, huh? So surprising that 50% of these illegals are not showing up at their court hearings.

"You cheap fucking bastard"

I'd rather be a 'cheap fucking bastard' than a complete stupid idiot absolutely devoid of common sense.

Have fun tugging at heart strings, Libtard!

This may be a world-class example of Blackflagging. To my knowledge, the LVTP never had any intention of a rally today.

This group wanted to have an open-border protest. Realizing how unpopular that would be, they made the plausible lie that it was a counter protest. And hyped it.

Classic, well played, and yet despicable nonetheless. Here's to hoping the media doesn't continue getting played by this radical fringe group.
