Jim Gregory No Longer Employed by Northampton County

Jim "LOL" Gregory, the Bethlehem Mayoral write-in candidate who found himself a guest at Northampton County jail after repeatedly defying a Protection From Abuse Act order (PFA), is no longer employed by Northampton County. Although details are murky, I believe he has retired.

After taking bad advice from fellow wing nut Tricia Mezzacappa, he has retained a real lawyer. All contacts with Mezzacappa have reportedly been severed.

Very weird. I guess he had to "retire", since once he could no longer get a shrink to sign his sick leave requests, he was going to be canned.
I mean how does an ex-con with a PFA on them get to do mental health counseling for the county. lol.

By the way, OMG!!!

If true it is a sad ending. We got an inside peek of what untreated mental illness can do to a person. Instead of providing the service he is now a consumer of it. How sad.

What is sad is the fact that two women, we know of, have been abused by this man. He almost got to do it to a third at the Sands but the State Police stepped in. His assaults resulted in two separate PFA's. Including counts of contempt of PFA's. You want to make excuses for brutality you do that.
He is sitting in jail and his victims are safe. He committed two violent crimes against women and you feel sorry for him? Mental Health my ass, he is a conniving criminal.

How very male of you. The guy is a ball less smuck and hopefully is servicing some of his cellmates.

This clown has and will learn nothing. I feel bad for his victims. If he gets out I hope the judge reads him the riot act that one, just one slip up and he is back in the slammer for good.

Is mr gregory a trust fund guy also?

"Retired," as in drawing a pension, or just no longer working for the county?

I had assumed that he would try to get some kind of disability, such as workers comp, LTD, or SSDI. You see that a lot when these public employees get into trouble they get a shrink to say that they have mental problems so severe that they cannot work.

Bernie,
He retired to get at his pension because he has no money. Where is the PAC money???? @ Kevin, you really shouldn't associate Gregory with the many hardworking individuals at the County who give a shit about their job. "you see that a LOT when THESE public employees get into trouble. Define lot and explain these. Asshole

8:53,

Most public employees are hardworking and conscientious. But there are always a few bad apples in any organization (public or private).

When these bad apples get into trouble, they often find attempt to use 'disability' as a way to continue to receive money.

I did not mean to imply that most public employees get into trouble or want to get disability. But there are certainly some who abuse the system, such as this guy:

I would assume he is now listening to everything his lawyer is telling him in order to be released early. As to whether he stays out of trouble is anyone's guess. Time will tell if he has taken full responsibility for his behavior. Even though it has been apparent that he needs professional counseling and or meds; it is up to him to make a change. No more excuses.

Right now he wants out of jail. His showman antics have not worked. he is willing to play the obedient client.

The real concern is once he is out and what he expects the "world" to do for him.

The over and under upon his release is probably a month if he is real lucky. He still blames everyone for his situation. Remember he is an almost Mesa and he is always one step ahead of everyone else.

The puzzling question is how has his involvement with Mezzacappa lead to her online disappearance. Or did it have nothing to do with it?

Jim is enjoying his stay and the new title of jailhouse "Mayor"!

He gets the pick of the dicks and chooses position, top or bottom.

Jim would never abandon his role as Earl's new "Dad", expect custody hearings to be initiated once he is released from 666 Walnut St.

The Mediterranean manslab has been working out and fasting. He won't eat that common slop in the prison but has been eating vegetables and salads provided him by sympathetic supporters. He will come out of the prison a chiseled hunk of pure man muscle.

He will be King of the Valley. His time in the prison weight room and sparing with his fellow inmates have made him into a steely warrior.

He may not be able to tan or color his hair in prison but I am betting we will see a shaved headed, bearded man of action upon his release.

He will be one ex-con that no one will want to mess with. The Lehigh Valley will see a new man when Mr. Gregory comes out.

Maybe ,This man went 'off the reservation' a the result of his job , maybe he truly wanted to help the dis-advantaged and the system he was employed by and it "drove him crazy too"as result!Could this be?

An almost Mensa, constrained by mediocrity, frothing at the mouth about his inferior superior's @ Public meeting's...yeah, it drove him nut's!

He is coming out alright! Best line. He probably made a lot of new friends in the can.

@2:55 Haha, yeah a new man alright, in his 60's...old fart. Im still waiting to hear how the BPD is going to handle all the money he stole from his clients comp cards whom he was taking to the casino.

Okay, I admit. I'm addicted to this story. Gregory, we need more Gregory!!!

He may get out of prison early if he follows direction; however, he may still have some other issues he has to deal with. What about the two searches he had at his home, the possible illegal videotaping, the PAC money, etc. Hopefully he will make the necessary changes he needs to stay out of trouble. Time will tell.

Mr. Gregory made a possible mistake. who amongst us has not made a mistake. Let he cast the first stone.

Mr. Gregory has had to fight a system determined to get him. Hopefully, he has been able to use his social worker skills in the prison to help some of the less fortunate.

? 1:10PM, you are kidding right?? Possible mistake?? That is like possibly dead or possibly pregnant. Of course we all have made mistakes and have done things we regret. Gregory is quite a bit different here. He physically assaulted two females, one was his sister and one was a woman he was in love with. He continually thumbed his nose at the law, Stoffa, Callahan, the BPD, Ron Heckman, Jerry Seyfried, the Labor Council, Ms. Sletvold, Bill White, the Express-Times, Bernie O'Hare, and the list goes on and on. It sounds like a Howard Stern apology. These threats weren't idle mistakes but rather targeted attempts to threaten, harass and intimidate any number of people, including his ex-girlfriend. He didn't jay walk or coast through a stop sign. This man is a danger and should be locked up. He has squandered chance after chance and wasted real opportunities to get his act together. Let him rot!!

In reference to the 1:10 p.m. posting; I do not agree that he had to fight a system determined to get him. He is in prison because of his behavior. He had PFA's filed against him, contempt of court charges, possible illegal video taping charges, etc. He is right where he needs to be until he takes responsibility for his actions and is willing to make some changes. I agree with 1:37 p.m. He did threaten, harass, and intimidate his victims. No question about it.

Query: What constitute's "Taking responsibility for his action's"?

Anonymous said...

God Bless you Mr. Gregory. You have endured much.

Anonymous said...

1:10 forgets the system "out to get him" initially gave him probation with 2 other counts that would likely have never been heard if he had followed the PFA Order. It was his continued harassment toward his victim immediately after his being placed on probation that had him returning and being sentenced to jail time.

The system gave him an opportunity to avoid jail. He, with the help of Mezzacappa, blew his nose on the paperwork before the ink had a chance to dry.

I have no sympathy for stupid people who think they are Mensa candidates.

God bless you Mr. Gregory, you have endured much? Are you kidding me? This asshole brought everything down on himself and deserves this and so much more. This asshole took dollars from decent people who want to make a difference in our broken political system and pissed it away at the fucking Sands!! I wonder how the finance company from Brown Daub feels about loaning Gregory money for his Camaro. Any bets on when they repossess it??? Any bets on when he loses his house that in all likelihood, he stole from one of his patients? Any bets as to when Mezzadouchebag goes to prison for her bizarre actions? Was she trying to keep Gregory in jail because she had a new car to tool around in? I hope that by this time one can drive a tractor trailer through his rectum. Scumbag!!!

@ "This asshole took dollars from decent people who want to make a difference in our broken political system and pissed it away at the fucking Sands!!"

The Sand's Casino should co-operate with authority's....considering Jim Gregory may have illegally coerced his client's financial decision's, while employed by NORCO, as reported in the media. His account should be audited!

Mr. Gregory may well have made an err in judgment but he is paying a heavy price.

Let us not preach Christianity and not apply it to Mr. Gregory. The entire story ahs yet to be told.

We may find that the reason a prominent member of the community ended up in prison is because he had the inside stories on Mr. Callahan and Mr. Stoffa? He knew all the secrets and had to be silenced, can we know for sure?

Let us wait to see the real untold story. He may have been victimized in the end.

In reference to the 1:51 a.m. posting, he is not in prison because of secrets he knows about other politicians; he is in prison because of contempt of court charges. He repeatedly tried to contact his ex after he had a PFA against him. Also, let's not forget that his own sister had to get a PFA against him as well. Oh, and also the possible illegal videotaping and questions as to where the PAC money is. I really don't think he is a prominent member of the community. He is a prisoner due to his behavior. No more excuses.

HAHA! In more ways than one. It is common in NCP.
