From Allentown: Residents in the vicinity of the 1200 block of S Seventh Street in Allentown should be on the lookout for a stray tan Pit Bull that has been exposed to rabies.
A city animal control officer observed the dog in a fight with a skunk on Wednesday, August 5. The officer attempted to tranquilize the dog, but it escaped through a backyard fence.
Tests on the skunk today came back positive for rabies.
The dog had visible flesh wounds on its muzzle and old scars across his entire body.
A canvass of the neighborhood did not turn up anyone who was familiar with the dog.
Anyone who sees the dog is urged not to approach it and to call 911.

As you can clearly see, I am not the rabid pit bull in question.

Damm Bernie, I did not know rabies is what the hard nosed bloggers were normal carriers and consistently rabid!
