Norco Gov't is Covid-19 Free!

No cases at the jail.

No cases at Gracedale.

No cases at the courthouse.

No cases at 911.

No cases at Centralized Human Services Building.

15 new cases throughout the county.

Not bad, Lamont.

Next time you see him, shake his hand.

So lets open this place up already!

There is a troll who submits comments on almost every post I write, bashing McClure and me, too. Now since he is an elected official, he is fair game. So am I as a blogger. But I decline to host these comments because they obviously come from someone who is unhinged.

9:22, It has to be tough for the families, I agree. I saw numerous comments on the county's Facebook post about Gracedale, praising the staff. McClure told me he wants to open the nursing home, but wants 14 clean days first.

no handshake how about an elbow bump - only if your wearing a mask

Perhaps you have rose colored glasses when it comes to McClure.

I can be and have been highly critical when warranted. The simple reality is he has been very effective and that’s what really bothers you. The difference between Brown and McClure is the difference between night and day.

Nobody in local or state government has any reason to be congratulated over this mess. 10% of Gracedale residents died. I won't be shaking anyone's hand for accomplishing that. I'll be voting them out of office before they harm anyone else.

I'd love a list of officials who ran out to march with BLM while deaths were going unattended and funerals either didn't happen or were sadly limited. One could march in NorCo, but not swing on swings. Think about that.

The staff at gracedale deserve praise. The executive needs to stop and see that there are not enough staff and do something about that. Close the old building. Downsize and you may have enough staff. This will decrease mandating. And begging staff everyday to work more hours. Causing turnover. Plus we are all paying the overtime and pensions based on overtime with our taxes. And lastly the building is old and not a dignified homelike environment. You spoke about long term planning. Where is the executive on that for gracedale

Right with you 1:29 PM. Brown was bad but so is McClure. At least people didn't die other than natural causes under his reign.

6:32 - These days, people who die in hospitals and nursing homes of natural causes are frequently labeled as victims of COVID-19. Yes, it’s true.
