NorCo Republicans Predict "Sweet Victory"

I'm currently collecting signatures for a candidate, and am astonished at the number of NorCo employees who fail to go to the polls. I should not have to say this after one year of John Brown. When you take no interest in your government, it has a nasty habit of taking an interest in you, usually to your detriment.

Here's what one Republican predicted last night.

It is great that the Dem's are all arrogant and talking smack. It means sweet victory for the Republican candidates. Bernie's support is toxic, ask Callahan, so that is good. Also history is prologue.

After the Gracedale referendum, it was all over for Republicans, county employees and retirees were going to vote in droves for Democrats. In 2013 the Dem's did what they usually do, they talk a lot and not bother to vote. The Republicans voted and they vote Republican. A Republican sweep. Even McClure is smart enough to know that and dropped out of running rather than lose.

This year you keep on talking smack and have Bernie attack the Republicans and praise your guys, thank you.

Well it's true. Problem within democrats is that we fail to go and vote in local elections where it truly matters.

Agree with above. The statement is accurate and true. Don't kill the messenger. In fact I have heard some Democrats say the same thing.

A third party is needed and to achieve that a transformative figure will have to emerge, an elder statesman who has strong features, ebony hair, chiseled musculature and connections to both labor and big business. Someone who's not afraid to go "all in" or climb over fences to reach goals, a man who like Icarus flew too close to the sun, fell from the sky but got back up.

When he comes they will call him Maitreya, it will not be long.

Icarus died, dummy.

Everyone could rally around the new third party with the right leader. A political messiah will soon be back in the Valley and save us from ourselves.

JG, will "unite" all those who want real leadership.

I thought it was illegal in Pennsylvania to walk through the Courthouse and solicit from the employees. Yes, soliciting signatures is soliciting.

The same way he unites with Bubba in Cell Block C.

Well I for one will do my part to start a voter registration drive for All Norco employees, family, and anybody else who resides in this county. We can and WILL have our voices heard, and the use of social media and this blog will ensure an uphill climb for " you know Who" and company! The time is NOW Norco, we can do this! Tom Davis

Don't mistake R arrogance as the final word here. I do believe the rank and file will come out and voice their displeasure with the current administration and send a strong message as to the checks and balances that need to be in place county government. The labor vote should be enough to carry the day come November. time to push back and make a statement. Vote or accept the fiats of King John!

This is still America and we still live by democratic rules. Don't let Brown tell you otherwise. He would have you think your fate is sealed when that is the farthest thing from the real truth. He is nothing but a bully with a rich boys agenda and friends with money falling out of their pockets. Now is the time to stand up this would be monarch and exert the will of the people. VOTE!

"I thought it was illegal in Pennsylvania to walk through the Courthouse and solicit from the employees."

This is core political speech and has the highest protection under the First Amendment. I may not take people away from their work, and do not. I do nothing that is not done by members of both parties. Find some other reason to complain.

You also thought it was a good idea for someone to practice libel, ignore court notices, and ignore a sheriff's levy. LOL

You are shooting in the wrong direction. Actually it was the majority Republican Council that chose to govern this year after Stoffa blew the fund balance and Brown proposed and illegal budget.

Actually, that comment is probaBLY FROM THE bLOG mENTOR

Fortunately, Dems show up in a Presidential election. The Repubs will lose in 2016 at all levels.

Local government is where they need to start showing up.

5 Democrats running for 5 council seats up for election in Bangor.

Anonymous said...

Absolutely. Especially state legislature races.

Unity PAC will be releasing it's list of endorsed candidates Mid April as it takes some time to properly vet those running, we will also set up a blog where a dialogue free of hate speech can take place and encourage everyone including Bernie to participate.

Mezzacappa. No contact. Direct or indirect. That means no comments here. There are only two people involved in this nonexistent PAC. One is in state prison. The other is you, who have just violated your bail conditions.

The R's need people to run for these seats and circulate petitions. As of now 2 of the 4 district seats are unchallenged and both the DA and Controller have no one circulating against them. Can't have a Sweet Victory if you can't fill the ballot!

I just got done watching season 3 of House of Cards. President Underwood gave Jim Gregory a Presidential pardon.

Rs are holding a number of petition signing events this week. Their ground game is strong. I've been robocalled twice for a petition drive. Run hard or go home.

Controller and Districts two, three and four are the Republicans for the taking.
All they have to do is file and they have th3e potions.

The yap, yap, Employees will once again sit on their asses and complain.

Barron is the most vulnerable since just like Callahan you can use this very blog to let people know all the incompetence and unethical behavior he has engaged in.

Yes, I have been critical and unlike some others, don't hide or poof prior posts bc they happen to be inconvenient. Unlike you, when I criticize someone, it is over a position or a policy. It is not out of hatred or malice. If thsat person removes the reason for my criticism, I stop being critical. The difference between people like you and peiople like me is that, in my case, it is not personal. Also, I recognize that people can mature and that there are times when i get it wrong. In other words, I try to be honest to my readers and you don't.

Most of your attacks are personal,. who are you trying to kid. You base all your "stories" on who you hate at any given moment.
