There will now be two news conferences by Bethlehem Mayoral candidates this week. J. Willie Reynolds will unveil his his "Winning Our Neighborhoods" package tomorrow. Later this week, opponent Bob Donchez will respond with his "Keeping Bethlehem Safe" proposal, aimed at public safety issues.

Donchez will hold his news conference on Thursday April 4 , 2013 at 11:45 am at the Bethlehem Police Substation located at 434 W. Broad St. He will be joined by Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli as well as some past and present members of the Bethlehem Police Department.

Seems as though Willie thinks everything is a "game".

Treat the addicts and alcoholics and our neighborhoods will be safe.

What are you blabbering about??? What "game" are you referring to? Do you mean Donchez?

Who doesn't want to keep Bethlehem safe? I have not heard Reynolds advocate for an unsafe Bethlehem. I am sure Reynolds will include safety in his plan.

I do find it interesting that Donchez is having his event at a police substation. I assume he means in from of it, since it would be illegal to do inside it. I also find it interesting that the police union endorsed Donchez without even meeting with Reynolds.

After the last contract, when police pensions were reformed and the union agreed to some give backs, several police officers told me that they are confident Donchez will give it all back when he is mayor.

Does Bob lie like Callahan? Is Bob promising casino tax relief like Callahan did and failed to deliver?

@6:25 Laura:

Why do you have to insult a public servant?

Does Donchez ask Morganelli permission to use the bathroom too? Who's running for office here?
