Northampton County Voting Registrar Amy Cozze asked Council for permission to hire as many as 10 more temporary employees to work in the elections office. This office is dealing both with in-person voting and is also processing a huge number of mail-in ballot applications. Those positions were already funded, but Council needs to approve their creation.
Cozze said she expects ballots to go out next week, and that the office will be manned until 8 pm. She is waiting for a ruling from the Supreme Court on Green Party candidates. The official count begins at 7 am on election day, unless the law changes. So far, there are about 59,000 mail-in ballot applications. She said she has hundreds of back-up pollworkers.

Important question, was the County given the super fast envelope processor machines or were they on loan from EXPRESS XL company during the primaries because of the major blunder in the general in 2019? They were a big reason our county posted first in the state numbers. Hope they are ours permanently.
This election will be contested. It may take weeks to count the votes. What mayhem will ensue? Vote n person as faith in mail in votes is shaken.
Why does she even have the election job after what she did? Don't trust her or the County!

I have no idea what the hell this is supposed to mean, unless you are referring to her statement on Facebook about a referendum question. I believe that was a major blunder on her part and one I have never seen made by any registrar before her. It undermines voter confidence. The HRC specifically permits county employees to engage in politics. But I believe that, like judicial employees, the registrar should be muzzled.
Let me add that I am fairly tolerant of all kinds of anonymous attacks on elected officials or high ranking cabinet members. But when the employee in question is a mere department head, I am more reluctant to allow personal attacks. If the attack is based on her taking a position on a referendum issue, I do not consider that a personal attack. I think that is a fair observation.
Mail in voting is becoming a very expensive endeavor for the voters. Pitiful. Typical liberal thinking. "at any cost "should be their motto. The taxpayer foots the bill again.
And the Republican motto? If you can keep suspected Dems from voting do everything Possible lmo ecpense barred, egal or otherwise to Suppress the vote.
