Although Tricia Mezzacappa was scheduled to be tried yesterday for false reports to the Pennsylvania State Police, nothing happened. According to the DA's office, she and her attorney sought and obtained a continuance of a case that has been languishing since February 11, 2019. While I'm sure there's a good reason for this delay, the victims feel as though they've been left out of the loop. They tell me they were never sent a subpoena to appear.
On its face, the prosecution against Mezzacappa is for a false report. But it's really a hate crime. If the state police are to be believed, she concocted a story in an attempt to frame a black man for something he never did. Given her racist history, there is no doubt in my mind that she expected the state police to assume the worst about a person of color.
She thought wrong.
In many ways, the Mezzacappa prosecution is an instance in which law enforcement refused to buy into the white privilege being hustled. But prosecutors need to keep the victims in the loop.
Black lives matter.

As you know Bernie, this is a typical defense strategy, keep filing motions and request continuances hoping that the victims get tired of going through the process and just stop cooperating/showing up leading to the dismissal of charges. Shady, but happens all the time.
With her, it's always been about race. She's been pretty blatant about it at times. She assumed that bc she is white and her neighbor is black, police would just accept what she says without question. It really is a hate crime.
I think there is a future for her in professional wrestling

It wouldn't matter what this shit bag did or how often, if she were black, you'd back off and you know it, and so do we.
Racist or not, its pure speculation that her story was predicated on the fact that her neighbor is an African-American. Past actions have shown her thought process to be out of sync with reality. I'm going to speculate that if the neighbor was white and had an exhaust that T-bag deemed offensive, he would have received the same treatment.
Word on the street is she has it out for the Irish too!

What is sad is the world is also full of hypochondriacs who clog our health system. She is a mess. There are times when I am ashamed of our society. Liars,cheats, Thieves and self important wanna bees. God help us.

There is no doubt in my mind that her alleged attempt to frame her black neighbor was based on the mistaken belief that state troopers are as bigoted as she. I also know from her past that she detests blacks. But I'll agree that, on the facts of this case, there is no corroborating evidence that she made the disparaging remarks she has been wont to do at other times. Hence, there was no charge of a hate crime.
