West Easton Constable Tricia Mezzacappa is
scheduled for an jury trial today on charges that she filed a false report with the Pennsylvania State Police. She had called them on February 11, 2019, to report that a black man with a gun had assaulted her as she parked her vehicle outside her home. She claimed to have responded by pulling out her own gun and firing at this guy as he darted in and out of a nearby house. State police responded in force, but were unable to find any evidence she had fired her weapon at anyone. What they did learn is that, earlier that night, she went ballistic at that nearby neighbor because his car's exhaust was too loud. You'd think that as her date with a jury draws nigh, she'd keep a low profile. She's instead doing the opposite.
On August 28, she predicts a "huge Trump loss in Northampton County" and states half the GOP Exec Committee has endorsed Biden.
God, I hope so.
On August 29, she claimed on Facebook to have started a new job at "Pro Trump Flag Rallies in Northampton County, Pa."
Just what they need.
On August 30, she said that the NorCo GOP is a "sick, satanistic organization."
I'm pretty sure they do worship Ron Angle. He tells me he's only Satan's second cousin.

On August 30, she started a write-in campaign for failed Congressional candidate Dean Browning.
Never mind that he has endorsed candidate Lisa Scheller, who defeated him in the primary.

You are a sick vindictive person, continually attacking this women and attempting to influence the Jury pool in this trial. While these statements may be true, it is a personal hatred that is your motivation. You should get some help with this obsession.
Do you have a time and courtroom number. I just may attend. I've been out of work due to trump's utter failure on the pandemic, so I just may find some comfort in watching one of his biggest supporters being found guilty on charges surrounding her 2nd amendment and being hauled off to jail.
I think "Satanic" is taking it a bit far.... However, I am a lifelong GOP member who has left the party due to Trump and the tragic and alarming swing to the hard right. History will judge the party and its leadership at the national and local level. And given the demographic changes coming to the region and the nation, the GOP as we know it today, will likely be viewed by future generations as on par with other far right movements in history.
This president fans the flames of division and potential violence to then justify further police crackdowns- that is what authoritarians do, that is what fascists do. I still get campaign materials in the mail which justify this observation. Right now, I feel in my bones as if we are being led down a road to a second civil war and the agitator is none other than the person who should be calling for national unity and compromise.
I hope I can come back some day when free trade and true national security and leadership, as well as respect for science and diplomacy are something the party can represent.
Until such time, I cannot abide fascists at the local, state or national level. My uncles did not fight on the beaches of Normandy or push deep into Germany itself, all before getting injured and maimed and sent back home, to allow similar strongman tactics and political platforms to happen here in our own country.

Attorney Waldron will be working his arse off till the very end to get a fair and just plea bargain for you, keeping you out of jail. I've seen him in action many times. He'll pull you aside and tell you to accept the offer or be found guilty at trial and get 1-2 years. You're goofy, but you're not dumb. You'll accept the offer and then delusionally post rants on Facebook that BOH ruined and chance you had at a fair trial.
Put on your big girl panties and go to court today (Don't forget to wear your mask) and be prepared to possibly go to jail for a week or so because I can foresee the judge accepting your plea deal as long as s/he gets to set a small example out of you. I also hope that part of your probation is to not have access to the Internet, Alcohol, Guns (any weapons) and must attend anger management treatment.

@7:59 - Spot on comment. The coming implosion of the Republican Party and its next evolution will be fascinating to watch. The current structure and messaging is self sabotaging in that it is completely ignoring the demographics of this country. Betting on and pandering to older, white, rural, non-college educated voters is foolish.
I know some people will hate to hear this, but Black Lives Matters does and is resonating strongly with young voters far more than older ones. In 20 years we will be smack in the middle of the Baby Boomer mortality limits with those voters currently in their early 60's.

@10:32 - Why do you find it difficult? BOTH parties have given into the more extremist viewpoints. Republicans of late have certainly been more aggressive in applying purity tests and chasing moderate voices out of the party. Seeing similar cases on the Democrat side too with more "Progressive" candidates appearing in the primaries.
I liked John McCain and Charlie Dent, both had more common sense than any current member of congress.
FOX News and the whole "Alt-Right" ecosystem has dumbed down the entire Republican party with non-stop agitation and harping on focus group generated talking points that hit home with easily influenced low information voters. There simply isn't enough of them to be a nationally viable party moving forward. They know they've bled out badly over the past decade in college educated suburbs which Reagan dominated, hence all of the desperate "Law & Order", ANTIFA/BLM minorities and public housing complexes are coming to get you ghost stories they keep trying to stoke. People like Bernie and Matt see how dangerous this woman is to the public and public process - and they feel it is their duty to inform us. I spent time in the military supposedly fighting communism in viet nam. at the same time communists were infiltrating our government, the media and Hollywood. It seems there are more advocates of communism in this country than in Russia. Even Putin declared communism was a dead end road.

What we actually have is two citizen reporters, giving us reporting they believe is important. This female is a threat to people, and that is why they continue to report on her travails. You call it "obsessed", but she's lined her own bed and now she is wallowing in it. Did you see her latest Open Records bullshi! appeal, over $1.25? They will likely modify the RTK law, just because of her abuse of it. And citizen reporters and concerned citizens will have less access to information as a result. She is a true menace, and we're fortunate to have Dees and O'Hare informing us of her activities.

The Republicans here that are really in charge of the party are all decent , tax paying ,take care of their families,and employees type people. Just to give you an overview, Yesterday Joe had a “rally “ in Pittsburgh,pa. There were about as many people there as our Legion Post has at monthly meeting on a snowy night . Any update on what happened today? The "West Easton Constable" was using FB at 12 noon and 1pm, ranting about Ron Angle Jr, so she didn't appear to be in court at that time unless someone was using her account.
Facemasks required in court? Can a feed bag substitute as a facemask?
