I guess the economy is fine; the wars are over; and everything else a federal representative should be concerned about is resolved. That's why Charlie can spend time on local primaries.
Because Dent is a Congressman he does not lose his rights as a voter in Lehigh County where he lives and pays taxes like everyone else. He is entitled to his opinion and he knows far better than most what the politics are in Lehigh I am glad he chimed in and endorsed a person (DB) who has served the county well and honorably for some time now
Good for Charlie! Dean is an honest, knowledgable and thorough commissioner and politician.
I sure hope Charlie does not endorse Scott Odd, as Casey alluded to in his post. Odd is a hypocrite - he runs around saying he is the real conservative, christian, etc. yet will stab anyone who disagrees with him in the back and spread rumors. And he is only about himself. Also, Odd was elected by Lehigh County Rs to represent them on Rep. State Committee, yet I hear he never attends their meetings. Some representation. How can we trust him to be a good county commissioner when he can't even fulfill his duties we Lehigh Rs already elected him to perform?!
Can someone tell me what Scott Odd has accomplished since his political run. He was selected to be the executive director of the county party, "absconded with $45,000 per year salary", never explained what he was doing, never produced a report on any kind. Now he tells us he has the knowledge and experience to be a county commissioner. Oh yes, he kept telling us that he was the "executive director" of the lehigh county republican party. WOW
Apparently Dean and Charlie are trying to keep liberals from invading Lehigh County. That's what the mailings say. So much for moderate Charlie Dent. Moderates can appreciate what conservatives and liberals bring to politics. It's sad to see.
