That could be it. I am still on IE6 and can't even visit half of the sites I like w/o going to Mozilla. These new explorers are making it harder to explore.
Daday, a former Reibman hallwalker who lost his marbles when Stoffa stopped his unemployment, does drop by now and again. He posts most frequently around 3 AM. Mike Fleck, a political hack who was exposed here for bilking campaign in western Lehigh County, is another such troll. He has even bragged about it at ABW. There's also George Speros Maniatty, a few of the Long Dems, and the occasional union goon. And of course, I get visits from the biggest blog troll of them all, at least when he's not rolling around on the floor, foaming at the mouth about all the whacky conspiracies he's conjured in his little head.
First day of school and I have to read two books by tomorrow. Got to love grad. school and the Order of Preachers (Dominicans.) I know that I am spent because I am singing Humpty Hump!
First, it serves an incumbent protection plan for elected officials. Lower level officials would be more reluctant to run for higher office if it meant them having to give up their current positions.
Secondly, it will cause more vacancies in office, with will either lead to costly special elections or having the replacements chosen by other elected officials rather than voters.

And Charlie Dent back in 2004.
Rightyo, Rylock, rightyo.
Bernie,
Do you know why I keep having to post comments on people's blogs under "Name/URL?"
For some reason, it won't let me comment with my Google Account.
I think it has something to do when I switched to Chrome.

It could also be that Shawn Millan has finally figured out a way to block you.
Hahaha I really do hope it's Shawn Millan.
Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. It is abhorrent that we pay politicians to campaign for their next jobs. And Rylock is right - it's a bipartisan problem.

What..and have no fall back/safety net? Unheard of in politics around here! That bill/law would never see the light of day!
The Banker - "It is abhorrent that we pay politicians to campaign for their next jobs." You mean, like Cunningham?
Yep, Cunningham too. And I truly do mean like all of them.

There are more than a few in Northampton County who hold one office and will leep and use time to run for another. A few are even Ohare mancrushes.
Lets see how he handles that one.
Dady, Dady, Dady, that's all folks!
Ohare, is everyone who calls you on your bullshit, Dady.
Will the real Dady please stand up?

YES! It would benefit all citizens. And end a lot of the insider political shuffling and calculations that go on.
Party insiders are destroying our future as a country because we have no statesmen - of either party - anymore.
Man in Circle aka Angry Priest how you feeling? Hope all is well. Now save Ohare's soul, if you can find it.
Rich Grucela's seat: Charlie Dertinger and Joe Cap dont have govt jobs. Two good candidates, not on the govt till.
No.

Add Jeenifer Mann to this list...she may be the all-time leader in this category.
I agree, I think Jen Mann should get frequent flier miles for all her runs. The Dem's love her but I never saw the fasination.
Its all her chins. Or is it one looong chin?
