"Stop the Violence" in Allentown on Saturday

Alfonso Todd, who publishes LV Flavor, has organized a group of musicians to highlight Allentown's positive aspects on Saturday. "It will present real life alternatives to those who want more than the widely popular ‘street lifestyle’."

He claims the "goal is to attract area businesses and community based organizations that will give needed information to the public. This event is intended to be educational as well as entertaining."

Dude, just say it. It's a party!

This is nice but really, how will it stop drug dealers who don't pay their bills from getting shot by their suppliers?

Call Obama, he might formulate a Drug Dealer Bailout Program. Money is no object.

It may or may not. However someone in the city must show they care about the people that are forgotten. If the event helps even one person, then it was worth it.

No one has a cure for cancer. Just as no one has a cure for the mentality that many who 'work the street' have, but if you work at it, little by little, there is hope that it may eventually go away.

Was that a serious run-on sentence or what? :-)
