Rumor: Pawlowski to Drop Guv' Bid Monday

Both The Express Times and I have  heard that Allentown Mayor Edwin Pawlowski plans to drop his gubernatorial bid on Monday.

He apparently will endorse Rob McCord , who is getting some major union support.

It has been thought that Pawlowski's run was intended to get him a job in the next admin, most likely Secretary of Community and Economic Development.

Did anyone really think Pawlowski was a serious contender? He was probably hoping to secure enough vote juice to barter a deal for himself.

Running on the "I'm a blithering idiot who's city has one of the lowest cash on hand balances in the country" platform was not a winning stragedy. Although, Fleck is one crafty mother f'r.

@11:00

Not necessarily. It just won't be from Allentown.

Ooops! Fleck just lost out on another way to scam people out of money. Who is he going to shake down next?

@8:32
Fleck's next target of opportunity will probably be Sam Bennett who got fired from her DC job and is back in town to set up another run for mayor of Allentown. Perfect match up for the Fleckster. Two hustlers conning each other and the voters.

I have got to ask, who is going to be his replacement when him and the bobblheaded nodders are indicted for the criminal acts helpped hide for a $500.00 campaign donation? Theft of services, civil rights actions commited and facts ommited by all but not limited too?

Miss Kane has come to play?

I would caution everyone here that, though I have received emails about Sam, I have no idea what she is doing right now. I would not write about that without speaking to her first, and don't know that her current occupational status is anyone's business but her own. Of course, if she decides to run for office again, it becomes relevant.

Has Pawlowski ever posted his final gubernatorial PAC contributor/expenditure statements?
