Make Your Last Minute Pitches Here

Today, I drop my biased political rants to do something completely different. I will be working the polls, helping people to cast their vote freely and without fear of intimidation  It makes no difference to me how they vote, but it matters that they get a fair opportunity to do so. Every election, I see people for whom it is a real struggle just to walk into the building, but they take the time to vote.  I see WWII vets who can no longer see or hear very well, but they vote. Those people are an inspiration to me, and hopefully, to others.

While I'm away, I'll have very little opportunity to check in. But if you'd like to make a last-minute pitch for your candidate, please feel free to do so in the comments. Please refrain from vulgar remarks.

After 8 pm, it will be too late.

I agree with your analysis of the people who struggle to get out and vote. Then there are the lazy people who could care less and complain the loudest about the results.

Which poll will you be at? Edwards and Wild voters are not happy you are involved in any official poll work due to your extreme bias. Hopefully you can refrain from showing any while people vote. Just in case, if you would please share where you will be we can send anonymous watchers to ensure fairness.

I will be at Hanover3. You can send watchers bc the law allows it. I do not tolerate any form of unfair behavior at my poll. My sole function is to help people vote. But feel free to complain. I will be making a few of my own about the illegal coordination that occurred with Emily'e List and NARSAL. You don't have a hugfest like the one Wild had with them and then deny there is any coordination. Even Fed Ed was not that brazen

Vote Edwards for a true progressive Democrat that will help move the Party into the new millennium.

Vote Edwards, he’s a man who has been working for progressive ideas 20 hours a day for 87 years without food or rest.
He is a friend of Jesus.
He is a saint.

Greg and Susan not happy with Bernie work n the polls ! Well it won’t matter for them after about this time tomorrow. I think neither have all the necessary tools in their tool box . I lthink John is fine and Marty also but, the best problem solver would be Rodger .

Please exercise your right to vote. Polls are open until 8:00 PM.

Please exercise your right to vote if you've bothered to become informed about the candidates and the issues.

As someone who would never dream of not voting, I urge anyone who is unsure about whether to vote to stay the hell home.

My wife and I just voted. That makes 53 years in a row without missing a Primary or General Election. It is the greatest freedom you have. Select your representatives whom you want to serve you in government. Vote. You can vote Democrat, Republican, or write in a name of someone who you think would best represent you. Just go out and vote.

I'm sick of the robo calls and polling calls and hang ups and mailers on end. Just give me some peace!

PA law needs to change....we need open primaries and follow the lead of other states who ended this party idiocy!

@12:27 all people have personal bias including Bernie but saying he would tamper in any way with results or try to impact voters while he's working in an official capacity is pretty crappy.

as a democrat, I will still vote none of the above against Casey

Vote Susan Wild, who has the ability to bring real integrity and morality to congress. She has the brains and the guts and it is high time we elect a woman.

We need to elect the most qualified and trusted person..just because of gender is not enough reason to vote for someone. That is ridiculous logic.

Wild's obvious connection to Atown politics and Fed ED is a red flag if I ever saw one!

Don't vote for Edwards. We do not choose one religion over another in this country. Not everyone believes in Jesus. We don't need religion in Washington.

No, we do not. If you want to vote in the primary, register in a party. You have no right to choose our candidate if you do not.

I Anon,9:26 some us don’t disagree with you. Pennsylvania is Commonwealth.we do lots of screwy things . Legislators should in my view, strongly review the ‘ TaxFree statuses of private colleges and hospitals for two examples . A litmus test should be used when something really does not benefit the general public ,the state or local folks in any given venue .

I appreciate your viewpoints Bernie, and per your suggestion since I can' bring myself to vote for Ms. Wild or Mr. Morganelli, I voted for Mr. Edwards. I don't like or trust either of what may be the front runners. On the other hand, Edwards is sincere and intelligent, and doesn't have the baggage of Wild or undesirable positions of Morganelli. It's a crap shoot like usual, and I refuse to vote for one of the worst candidates.

2:38..You and I are in agreement. Good observations.

Independents should then be banned from voting in the general, Because by your logic, they have no right to vote for your candidate.

I waited until school was out so that my daughter would be able to go in and vote along with me. This election unfortunately had a low enough turnout that we wouldn't annoy anyone by me taking a few moments to explain a few things inside the curtain. We got out just in time to walk home before the storm hit.
