According to Northampton County Executive John Stoffa, a deer attempted to get inside the Northampton County Courthouse last week. But it tried the employees' entrance. Not having an ID card, it was denied access to the building.
I have no idea why it was trying to get inside. Some think it wanted to file a custody action. Others are convinced it was seeking a PFA from some rutting buck. But like many people who leave the Courthouse disappointed, the deer went berserk. It ran back to the parking garage, remembered it doesn't drive, and smashed the glass by one of the doors.
"It was last seen running up Washington Street," Stoffa told Council last week.

With all the guns in Easton, that deer is a meal before it reaches 10th Street.
I'm surprised the parking garage damage isn't being pinned on Marco Andretti!
Maybe it saw an "Otter" and thought it was old home week at the courthouse.

After it heard how they treat criminals better the the sick and elderly, it turned tail and got the Hell out of there.

"After it heard how they treat criminals better the the sick and elderly,"
