Yet Another Cheney Impeachment Plea Thankfully Ignored by MSM

Last week, three Democratic Congressmen from the House Judiciary Committee submitted an oped to leading newspapers, including The New York Times, Washington Post and Miami Herald. It's provocatively called "A Case for Hearings." They want VP Dick Cheney impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors" that include deceptive actions leading up to the Iraq war; outing a CIA covert agent for political retaliation; picking his nose and eating it; and illegal wiretapping of American citizens.

But MSM corporate giants refuse to publish their essay.

Why not? Here's one answer. "Because the corporate owned media is a wholly-owned subsidiary to the Republican Party, as it has been since the Reagan Revolution of 1980."

Really? Well, last time I checked, it was Democratic House Speaker Pelosi and Judiciary Chair John Conyers who have their feet on those impeachment brakes. Are they wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Republican party, too?

I know why the papers won't run this op-ed. It stinks. It's a poorly written and tired piece of trash that simply regurgitates the same mantras over and over. Listen, I know all about garbage writing. I get rejected by editors nearly every day. Some of those bastards even block my email. Why the hell do you think I blog?

I like Cheney and love reading stories like this. Crybabies serve as a delicious reminder of past political victories. Cheney's not running for anything anymore, but his last two political victories feel as good to his supporters as they deeply offend his detractors.

You guys are idiots. I'll pray for you and Charlie Dent along with all you neo-con Anti American Clan.

Anon 1:54,

That's your problem. Unless someone is on board with your quixotic quest, he must be a member of some "neo-con anti-American clan." So that makes Conyers and Pelosi neocons.

I'm no Cheney fan, but would not support this goofy and tired imperachment plan for these reasons: 1) By the time you're underway, he'll be out of office; 2) You'll never convict; 3) It polarizes people at a time when we need to be coming together; 4) It distracts attention from a multitude of other important issues we need to face, including our health care and sagging economy; and 5) Americans tend to have a lot of sympathy for public figures who get kicked around, and you are going to make this guy more popular.

The past is prologue. The people must
have justice as well as this nation; if this country is going to survive.

From what I hear Conyers and Pelosi are enabling and may well be neocons; the term fits.

They are already working on the global tax for their global government.

We already have this:

doublespeak 101

Instead of parroting the mantras you read elsewhere and regurgitate here, how about a little independent thought? I gave you 5 reasons why this is downright silly. You respond w/ a link to a video. Do you realize you sound like you're almost as nutty as me?

There was no reason to address your 5 reason, they don't negate that the past is prologue. Perhaps your not familiar with the term. If we allow an event to stand; it will allow greater and more horrific events to occur.

I follow up with a video tape that in the 39th Legislative assembly Province of Manitoba, Canada

Throne Speech November 20,2007

That they are in cooperation with the United States and Mexico both at the State and local Governments to bring in a North American Union.

Since, you struck first; in your world I'm sure this is nutty; where
ignorance is strength.

Hence, knowledge is weakness.

That's a really HOT picture of Cheney. I may have it enlarged to life size!

You don't mess with Cheney. He shot his friend in the face, and made his friend publicly apologize for messing up his shot at a bird.

One tough dude, and from this photo from Bernie's pin up wall, kinda sexy too. ;)
