From Northampton County's Elections Office: The Northampton County Elections Office announces that it will install a secure ballot drop-off box for mail-in ballots in each of the County’s four districts. The boxes will be available starting Thursday, October 5, 2023. Accessing the drop-off boxes does not require going through security at any location.

When dropping off a ballot, voters can park for free in the loading-and-unloading zone on Washington Street in front of the Courthouse or use the parking lot at the Wolf Avenue and Washington Street intersection.

To ensure that your mail-in ballot is accepted, voters must make sure the ballot is enclosed in the yellow secrecy envelope and sealed, the return envelope is signed and dated on the back in the marked yellow boxes, there are NO identifying marks or symbols on the secrecy envelope, and the ballot is returned to the Election’s Office NO LATER THAN 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7th. USPS postmarks will NOT count if received after this deadline.
Voters may only drop off their own ballots. Third-party return of ballots is prohibited unless the person returning the ballot is rendering assistance to a disabled voter or emergency absentee voter and has a signed “Certification of Designated Agent” form on file at the Elections Office. A copy of this form can be downloaded here Authorize Designated Agent Form (pa.gov).
Applications for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballots are available in the Election’s Office or at Mail-in and Absentee Ballot (pa.gov) or Absentee and Mail-In Voting (northamptoncounty.org). The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 31.
Counterfeiting, forging, tampering with, or destroying ballots is a second-degree misdemeanor pursuant to sections 1816 and 1817 of the PA Election Code. (25 P.S. §§ 3516 and 3517)

I love how Republicans refused to vote by mail [VBM] and were so obstinate about it. They touted how VBM was a way to steal elections. UNTIL....they couldn't prove their lies. Now all of a sudden Snover is running an initiative to push the VBM because the GOP is desperate.
Hey Republicans, you lose because of your penny wise dollar foolish mentality that doesn't help anyone. You really shouldn't vote by mail after all the crying you did about it. You should continue to stand in line and vote in person just to save face.
Due to the Republican agenda, they have none, I have changed my voting status to Democratic and will never vote for another Republican the rest of my life.
Rs have basically given Ds an advantage by refusing to vote by mail. The person most culpable for this is cult leader Donald Trump. Some Rs have finally woken up. Dean Browning and Lisa Scheller formed a PAC top encourage Rs to vote by mail. I have no idea what Snover is doing. She no longer is part of the county GOP party leadership. The only advantages I see to in-person voting is (1) an opportunity to meet neighbors; and (2) eat very tasty but very unhealthy bake sale food. I see my neighbors when I walk my dog and have him shit on their lawns. I love bake sale food, but have to avoid it or it sets me off.

I’m a democrat who votes in person. Want to complain about that? By the way, I also see mail-in ballots for perfectly able-bodied people to be nothing more than laziness on their part. I may not get the government I deserve, but the morons sure do.
