Last night, in a moment of weakness, I picked up a bowl of Pho from the Pho Bowl for a sick friend. On the way, I drove by my brother's house to say Hi. This is what I saw. 
Now I'm sick, too. He has a sign supporting Scott Hough for State Rep even though it's in another district. He has not one, but two, Trump signs, a trait that seems common among the Trump supporters.
I called my brother. He's been off his meds a few weeks so he probably needs an intervention. After cursing him out for about an hour and telling him what an idiot he is, I asked why he needed two Trump signs. Isn't one enough?
"Well, I had just one Trump sign, but some kid wrote "Fuck Trump!" in chalk on my sidewalk, so I got another one."
- "That was no kid. It was me!"
My brother went on to tell me that he is actually the "Captain" of the West Bethlehem Republicans, all three of them, and has been spending weekends knocking on doors and handing out flyers.
- "In the middle of a pandemic, you're knocking on people's doors?"
"Why not?"
- "Because you might be giving them the 'rona, you moron! Do you at least wear a mask?"
"No, but I rarely wear underwear either."
So folks, if you see someone who looks a little like me pounding on your doors, call 911.
Actually, my brother is not just more conservative than I am. He is also much quieter, nicer and a little smarter. But he lacks my good looks.
I know people who have lost friends and have experienced family friction over this stuff. But my friends and my family will be my friends and family.

Knowing what we know now (about the flawed Biden) with more being revealed by the day, I find it perplexing that so many will still consider Biden the best choice for our next President. Remember, it’s Biden (Kamala Harris) who will make decisions on our families’ future. FAR too risky to place our nation in the hands of radical Democrat-Socialists.
Wonder if any early mail-in voters are having doubts about their choice?

Your brother has a lovely garden in front of his house...evidence of a sound mind and good temperament. Wish he would come knocking at our door, we live in (north)East Bethlehem. I love to chat. Somebody pulled a neighbor's Trump sign up along with the Hough sign, and tossed them across the yard. While vowing to break their neck if he caught anybody trying to do that again, he placed them close to the front wall of his home, and so far, so good. Another neighbor tells me that the Trump signs come out next week...he already has Scheller and Hough signs up in his front yard, undisturbed. Most yards in the area have no signs, and very few are for Steve Samuelson or for Biden/Whatsername. Most people are keeping it to themselves who they plan to vote for. Good policy.
My problem with this election is that in voting for Biden, I know I'm getting Harris for president. Biden will not last four years -- I have seen the signs of early dementia and I truly fear he is headed down that path. Harris is just not palatable to me because she is incredibly opportunistic and used so many as she got to this point in life. She eviscerated Biden during the primaries, yet is so proud to now stand beside him. A lack of integrity in my book, but I guess that makes her a politician. I have a great fear, too, that the media has Joe's back and will not report on his administration objectively.

I have a brother similar to yours. Mine doesn't have a pot to piss in, a window to throw it out of, and lives off Democrat assistance programs, but he's a Trump fan from Day 1, for keeping Arabs and Mexicans out. Trump wouldn't care if my brother ended up living in the gutter and dying from lack of healthcare he now gets for free, but my dumb-ass brother would wave a Trump banner with his last breath.

My ramblings for the evening——Bernie ——what are you going to say when the election is a landslide. Especially with all the news coming out recently about Joe and Hunter Biden. They are toast, they are finished. I believe it’s a case that Hunter can’t and is very tired of living in Beau Biden shadow, He could never live up to him with daddy’s expectations. 1. FACT- Under the Obama administration, Trump properties were used for foreign diplomacy trips. The practice hasn't changed. I agree, let's put them up in a Holiday Express when traveling on OUR tax dollar. Let them live like the rest of us.
