About an hour later, my arms could barely pick up my cell phone as I got a message from an old-fart friend who decided to try it.
He did 41.

Any soreness in your chest? That's where push-ups should create soreness.
Doing them incorrectly makes you sore elsewhere and could also lead to injury.

If you haven't worked out that way in a while, you might consider a beginner version, i.e. doing them on your knees. Then you could work up to harder types. Nobody ever gets fit in just one workout, but lots of people try to, leading to injury which derails them from their goals.

Bernie, I think anonymous is asking does the left or right palm have more hare on it? The best cardiovaskular exercise is allways done with a partner in most cases with the oppisit sex.
