Callahan Called Before Grand Jury

Former Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan has been spotted on his way to the investigating grand jury. Located in Easton this grand jury is investigating the mismanagement of a nonprofit formerly directed by Bethlehem city council member Karen Dolan. In addition to a $128,000 debt to the city that was written off, the grand jury is investigating possible conflicts of interest by Dolan. She allegedly used the power of her office to obtain preferential treatment at her nonprofit.

If he had been elected County Executive he wouldn't have had as far to go.

hey asshole, blowing a grand jury investigation so you can gossip about it on your despicable blog could land you in jail

The grand jury is a money wasting kabuki dance for public consumption in response to this blog's outstanding investigative reporting on the issue. Morganelli won't be prosecuting any county Democrats anytime soon. Our local version of Harold Stassen won't alienate any possible donors in the run up to his next try at whatever office.

Wow. There must be a way to track down that nut after she made such a harmful character-assasinating charge. Please take her house. Please.

No worries for Johnny, he's had sex with half of the jurors.

Must TM use up so much space? What a loser.

1:24, What goes on in front of the Grand Jury is secret. What goes on around it, and who is seen going in, is not.

actually Burnie, aren't the witnesses free once a week the grand jury to discuss what their testimony was?

bloody Voice typing software. Course I shouldn't be doing this while driving. I meant once a witness is finished testify, I thought they were free to discuss their own testimony.

Yes, the witnesses are free to discuss their testimony. DAs don't like it, but it cannot be stopped. The secrecy is on prosecutors and grand jurors.

Texting while driving??? Just don't watch any youtube videos.

what can I say? Unfortunately, I know my grand juries

I'd like to have them all dress in cardinal robes, with a rack and assorted tools nearby.

Perhaps the jury is only a good one; not grand. They'll do their best, I'm sure.

That would be a petit jury, the one at a trial. Note the Norman (French) words. Our common law combined the use of Saxon and Norman words. Will and Testament, for example, is Saxon (Will) and Norman (Testament). To this day, there persist many combinations of Saxon and Norman in our legal lingo. Quite interesting, actually.

Callahan is a private citizen and if you want to attack him, you are going to have to tell us who you are.

I am the informed city hall employee. Unlike you. I know what went on for 10 years under Callahan. I wonder why you deleted my post. Guess it was true unlike most of your posts.

I deleted your post bc it was a vicious personal attack on a private citizen by a person who won't identify himself or herself.

You attack private citizens all the time ! You hypocrite !

How many posts do you make anonymously to feed the fire. You are a fake and a liar. I know you and know you like to stir the pot.

The above two comments obviously come from Tricia Mezzacappa. The hate is palpable. I love how she misidentifies herself as a 10-year City worker. In her current state of mental health, she could not last ten days at McDonald's. Tricia, it is now $67,671.
