Mister Rogers, aka Will Power, Visits Joe Long's Neighborhood

Not long ago, the Joe Long Democrats decided, in some Nazareth bar, to endorse Ann (64% taxhike) McHale over incumbent Northampton County Executive John Stoffa. As Bossman Joe Long complains in an epistle to his apostles, Stoffa has demonstrated a "lack of leadership within the Democratic Party."

Northampton County voters elected John Stoffa to be County Executive, not Democratic party leader. But if truth be told, Stoffa actually has demonstrated leadership within the local Democratic party. Last July, he publicly requested Long to step down as party chair in a scathing letter excoriating Long's machine-style approach to politics.

The Stoffa camp is collecting all kinds of signatures in its petition drive. It might interest Bossman Long to know that Will Power decided to visit Long's neighborhood. Wearing a cardigan and singing "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood," he collected over 70 signatures for Stoffa.

They love him, Joe.

What does Lisa Boscola say? She supports Ann McHale, doesn't she? Isn't Will Power her brother? Doesn't Stoffa get along with Boscola? Does that make her or Stoffa the bad Democrat? I am confused who to believe here. Wasn't Boscola with McHale at her announcement? Will Power wouldn't act against his sister who has more integrity in Northampton County than Stoffa, would he?

Will Power is Lisa Boscola's brother. He supports Stoffa. She supports McHale.

Boscola is a hard-working state senator who delivers great constituent services. But that does not give her integrity. There is no elected leader in the Pay to Play world of the LV who demonstrates more integrity than Stoffa.

Look at her finance reports some time. Also look at the way she handled that Kieklak incident, who was kept on board and given a raise after making misogynmistic remarks about a number of female bloggers as well as a female congressional candidate.

Who is crazier you or Will Stofko Power?

Hey, thanks for stopping by at 3 AM. You must really love me.

What Kieklak incident? Did he publicly refer to some female elected official as Honey Girl?

Bernie O'Hare said...

Pardon me, but there's one hell of a difference between referring to an elected official by her former nickname, as Angle did, and referring to a female politician as a "plastic p---y," as Kieklak did.

With all the crap you unloaded on sam Bennett, you're calling out Bernie K?
Pot meet Kettle!

Will Power obviously thinks for himself..He's a good man with a big heart who believes in integrity in Government. Go Will..

"With all the crap you unloaded on sam Bennett, you're calling out Bernie K?"

I was highly critical of what was out there, on the public record, about Sam. I never got personal and made a point of deleting misogynistic remarks directed at her.

The same type of comments you and Angle now make against Ann McHale.

I have never made a misogynistic remark at McHale. I've called her imperious, and have produced ample evidence to justify that. I've quoted her statement that "nice guys finish last." I pointed out her attempt to give NC $ to a LC nonprofit. I've pointed at her deception of fellow council members concerning Shiloh Baptist Church. I've noted that she supported a 64% tax increase over two years. But there's been no misogyny. If you're going to lie, try and tell a better one than that.

bernie, will you or will you not condemn the comments made about McHale. Nickname or not, they are sexist comments. It would be nice if you called the scum out when they deserved to be called out on all occasions, not just when the COS of a state senator does so.

There is no comparison betweeen what Angle and Kieklak said. Angle called McHale by her nickname. Not a single member of council condemned the remark. Had I been unaware that Angle was using her nickname, I would have condemned what he said. His explanation answers my concern about sexism.

Not long ago, Dertinger clearly called Angle a "low hanging fruit" during a council meeting. Everyone denied that was homophobia, but Angle's use of a nickname is misogyny?

What you are really doing is attempting to trump this up to try and get some sympathy voted for McHale. She'll need them.

It is also creepy that he felt like he need to don a cardigan sweather in order to appear unannounced at people's doors. Almost like he knows there is something very wrong with him ? His arrest record would certainly indicate that ther is.

I see the Joe Long Democrats haven't learned a thing after their last anonymouse sleaze campaign. That's nice.

Will Stofko was always a few oars short. He is even nuttier than O'Hare. Stofko has been arrested, found Jesus, been arrested, in fights. Yeah he is a good addition to Team Bizzaro, I mean Team Stoffa.

Got that right, Honey Girl.

Beenie,
I love the low hanging fruit attempt, your hatred for anyone who disagrees with you is back so I goggled the expression and found nothing remotely homophobic as you suggest but this definition.

"We have Mother Nature to thank for the expression low hanging fruit. A fruit-bearing tree often contains some branches low enough for animals and humans to reach without much effort. The fruit contained on these lower branches may be not be as ripe or attractive as the fruit on higher limbs, but it is usually more abundant and easier to harvest. From this we get the popular expression "low hanging fruit", which generally means selecting the easiest targets with the least amount of effort.
In business, the term low hanging fruit is often associated with the sale of consumer products or services. Sales professionals, especially those who are just entering the field, are encouraged to seek out the easiest customers first, which sales managers may call "low hanging fruit."

Take a moment if only for your own sanity and reflect on how inappropriate it was to use Honey girl in the context that has been described.

Angle was clearly wrong, and no distortion of Boscola or Dertinger will change that.

O'Hare is only go to get more desperate as this campaign goes on. He and Angle already are attacking Ann McHale with sexists remarks. O'Hare is also attacking Gracedale staff who dare correct him on repeating the mis-statements of one of the Stoffa flunkies.
Rather than gather the 'facts' as he loves to say, O'Hare is just playing whatever song sounds best to his mancrushes Angle and Stoffa.

The Joe Long/Charles Dertinger/Ann McHale Dems are at it. I have answered those who think I should shush up when unfavorable information is discovered about Gracedale. Contrary to the machine, I think people have a right to know.

Also, as far as Angle's supposed sexism, I answered trhat, too. Angle is condemned by calling McHale by her nickname, yet the COS who called Shiobhan Bennett a "pastic p---y" gets a raise. Something is wrong there.
