Northampton County Dems Amend Sham Campaign Finance Report

Earlier this week, I told you about the fraudulent campaign finance report filed by local Dems. It reports a meager $1,125 in contributions, all under $50. No expenditures. From a cursory review of paperwork filed by other candidates, I know it is completely bogus.

Local Dems fail to list a $250 contribution from candidate John Maher, a $500 contribution from PSEA, a $1,000 contribution from candidate Tony Branco, and have no explanation for the in-kind $4,888.35 contribution Maher claims he received from Dems on October 20. As BethlehemDem noted, they also fail to list the expense for a September picnic at Tri-Boro Sportsmen's Club.

I dropped by the election office today and, lo and behold, an amended report is on file! At least for now, the older version is still on file with the Department of State.

This new and improved campaign finance filing tells us that, instead of $1,125, Dems raked in $2,520 during the latest reporting period. Amazingly, it still fails to list all but $100 of the contributions I've mentioned. BethlehemDem will be happy to learn that the September picnic cost $1,040.

This latest filing is an improvement, but still inadequate. It fails to identify the source of funding for sleaze mailers and anonymous robo calls directed at Ron Angle and Peg Ferraro prior to October 22, the end of the reporting period.

But some twenty-four hour reports seem to answer that question. I'll tell you about that later.

Norco Dem committee is a disgrace!

Past Party Chairs of all stripes must be rolling in their graves, or like me, wishing I was dead!

Party Chairs need to be public servants! Will anyone please advise Boss Long, and his minions, that they are not kings of the world?

People in political Parties these days, it seems, are only paying attention to their own "personal" interests is my strong opinion.

Go directly to the people, skip the "Party" and you'll be much better off and maybe you will be a "true" public servant. Skip consultants like sleazy severson and you'll be twice as effective an elected official or better off watching tv at home if you lose. larry@kisslinger.com
