From Steve Barron, Northampton County Controller elect:"I spoke with Mr. Schimmel this afternoon. After the final canvassing of the machines the final margin of victory will be 414 votes. He wished me the best of luck as the new Northampton County Controller.
I thanked him for running a great campaign and appreciate the clean campaign that he ran. I also wished him the best of luck with the grandchild that his family is expecting."
These are two class acts.

From an observation, both Mr. Barron's win, and Mr. Schimmel's strong place, were 100% based on their ability to do the job, and their ability to convey that to the voters.
