Wolf has taken things one step further. He has now issued an Executive Order under which all non-life sustaining bsuinesses must shut down by 8 pm today. Enforcement actions begin on Saturday.

If Trump would have done this Bernie, you would have written a ten paragraph post deriding his illegal "authoritarian" action and how he was hurting the most vulnerable. Wolf does this...crickets! I am all for protecting lives but this is just a bridge too far. Its economic suicide.

You are completely full of shit. I already blasted Wolf on Tuesday, and that was when his directive was only voluntary. I am sick of assholes who misrepresent what others say. Maybe you should sleep a little more and drink a little less.
For this to apply to outside construction workers, golf courses and other activities is typical overreaction of the ignorant and uninformed. Governors are now in a pissing contest to see who can demand more authoritarian actions. They again fear making any decisions, and now they feel they don't want to be criticized for too little action.
I am sure they will want to arrest the poor excavator digging a hole. but leave the criminals to run free. they should open temporary facilities for criminal offenders, maybe tents, to keep them from escalating their crimes when they see there will be no consequences.

Now everyone knows why there is a run on gun purchases by FIRST TIME BUYERS who are most likely liberals who a few weeks ago demanded more gun control! This is real. The gunshop in Northampton is practically sold out! The decision by the Governor is myopic and a cookbook response to what he is seeing in other places and not based on reality. Locking people up in their homes and then, yes then threatening to arrest those who do not comply, its a recipe for issues beyond the coronavirus. Hoping the Governor takes another look at what he has dubiously ordered and come up with other more workable/reasonable directives.

The government's police power expand in time of emergency. Do not doubt that they are considerable under these circumstances. No judge is going to find orders like Wolf's to be unconstitutional.
