Northampton County Exec Stoffa to Undergo Hip Replacement
Northampton County Executive John Stoffa has been in a lot of pain for the past few years. He needs a new council, one that actually wants to work with him. But more than that, he needs a new hip. Late next week, John will undergo a hip replacement, and I wish him a speedy recovery. Next year, there will be a council replacement, too.

You know, I have had it with the Mourning Call. Not that it will matter but I am cancelling my subscription. Between this and the ridiculous front page article titled "Valley Voters give Obama high Marks" . They quote a poll they did with 10 dems, 7 rep, 1 independant. THats 11 to 7 in my book against McCain, and then they go on to say that the average score seemed to favor Obama. DUHH, dont they understand the principle of weighed averages? It's either they deliberately did this or they are just stupid. Either way, good bye Mourning Call.

I've just deleted an anonymous personal attack directed at the exec. I know it's hard when you're a Stoffa hater, but try to show a little class.
It has been a lot of pain for the taxpayers of this county also, as he has not done crap to better this county. What has he done to make us a better county, other than form independent committees to "LOOK AT" how we can make us better. We can be better by getting rid of this a**hole.
He will use this operation as one of his excuses not to run. If he runs he gets killed by anyone.
His "i'm the anti-Reibman" pitch is very old. He is right about one thing, he is not Reibman, Stoffa and his team are much worse.
He should get a brain replacement! If he is that good , why is Conklin applying for a job in Salisbury Twsp.? Sounds like the rats are abandoning the ship.
