Biden's Blunder

US Secy of State Antony Blinken has just returned from a trip to China in an attempt to ease tensions between the world's superpowers. He returned alive, so in that sense, the trip was a success. But he was unable to even wrangle an agreement in which the militaries of both nations could establish communications to avoid confrontations. I see no reasonable justification for this refusal by China, and suspected that stance to change.

Not anymore.

President Joe Biden has single-handedly sabotaged any diplomatic success by his own Secretary of State by calling Xi JinPeng a dictator

Biden, of course, is correct. But the timing of his remarks pretty much destroyed any thaw.

A Dictator is a Dictator is a Dictator and by any other name is a Dictator. What do you suggest we call dictator's? How about unelected National Public officials, or unelected National Power Mongers? We could call the heads of state in any country that doesn't elect their leaders and are ruled by an Army "your Royalty or King or queen". If you don't want to be called "Dictator", then don't be one.

Of course he's a dictator, but at the veryt time that you are trying to lower temperatures, you do yourself no favor by throwing more gasoline into the fire. It was a diplomatic blunder.

There is no communication, because there is no credibility in this administration. They talk of war with China, and other trash mouth verbiage, not understanding the culture and history of China, then are amazed when they are viewed with contempt and ignored. This administration believes that they can dictate to China, but still doesn't understand that this country is dependent on China. It seems that China has decided it will just move to do business with the other half of the world, rather than be dictated to.

How do you expect a man to make any deal w/a country that has a blackmail file 2feet thick? His son was taking money from Chinese government owned energy company (CEFC China Energy) then funneling through LLC's then claiming on his taxes through S corporations. Look at Joe's 2017 tax return where he claimed 10 million via an S corp. Links below

And now we have the Chi-Coms training 90 miles away in Cuba.

Are the any Dems who are left with any sense at all who now understand what it means to have a blunder in chief in office? Do they still hate Trump so much that they can’t see how he kept this country strong, safe and prosperous? Hmm. They rallied physically around a liar in Congress after his censure so probably not.

Almost as, but not quite as bad, as a mean Trump tweet, no???

If you threaten someone with war, they will prepare for war, not collapse in fear.

He's certainly a dictator in the traditional sense. He's also dictating US foreign policy in the Biden Era. Power abhors a vacuum and there's a vacuum of power among the West's so-called leaders. China knows that Biden is cognitively impaired and not capable of leading. He'll continue to say the things dementia sufferers do. The Chinese are really matching wits with the Oberlin College faculty and laughing at how naïve and ignorant of history they are. We are Vienna - without the class - at the start of the 20th century. We're ignoring the storm for which so many (including this blog) are spoiling. And half of our adult males are too fat, sick, or mentally disturbed to serve. Good bless America¿

Sadly, it seems the leaders of China, Russia, India and the gulf countries, are far more professional and serious people. More gravitas as they say. I see no diplomats or serious negotiators in this administration. They believe they can just demand and threaten, I fear they are very dangerous for our country and the world.

Just as W got countries mad at us with his Axis of Evil remark during the State of the Union, Biden’s choice of words was not the best move. Bees with honey vs. vinegar diplomacy is a better idea with certain nations.

Blinken, who I am not a fan of given his history of appeasement, did seem to make a little progress in the thawing the relationship. Along comes Joe who fu**** that up in about two seconds LOL.

Good timing Bernie. More IRS whistleblowers came forward. My favorite part is below under the link about texting a communist party official

Shapley also revealed that Hunter Biden had cited his father in a July 30, 2017, Whatsapp message to one of his Chinese associates, Henry Zhao — a Communist Party official and director of Harvest Fund Management, which invested in Hunter’s firm BHR Partners.

“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Hunter wrote. “Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

Biden has lost his mind. He has raised his status as a gaffe machine to a new level of incompetence.

Joe has to talk tough about China or it will look like he’s been taking bribes from them.

Oh, wait.

Have to think Biden will not be the 2024 candidate. Now then, can anyone name a few different names to be the Democrat candidate? I would never vote for Kamala Harris or that California Governor.

Bernie O'Hare said...

Kamala Harris is unelectable. I ruled out Newsom, but am rethinking after he handed it to Hannity in a recent interview. I'll give Hannity credit for hosting him. Without question, Newsom bested Hannity.

"Xiu is a big boy. He can handle it. "

It is Xi, and he is by no means a thin-skinned Trump. That's not really the point. The point is that there was no need for this provocation on the heels of a meeting designed to reduce temperatures. This gives China's hawks, and they have them, all the more reason to continue dangerous interactions at sea and in the air. It was a diplomatic blunder by Biden. The fact that he's in our tribe does not change that reality.

The problem with Newsom is he has to defend the indefensible. The state he governs. San Francisco is unlivable. When cost of living is factored in they have the highest poverty rate in the country. Crime, homelessness, taxes, and cost of living are causing people to flee.

Having a Chinese base 90 miles from americas shore makes it much easier to deliver suitcases filled with cash to Hunter and Bidens brother.

But then again, China already owns millions of acres in America and has almost 300,000 military aged college students embedded in our universities.

Once Democrats disarm American citizens, the plan will be complete.

We are already halfway to Chinese domination.

They own most of our debt.

8:38, This is what you Rs do. You can never focus on the topic. Yopu always stray into other areas,, even when I make points with which you should agree. All I will say about Newsom is that he did a very effective job responding to Hannity when they were face-to-face. If he runs, he'll be formidable.

I have rejected a number of comments from Rs who just are mentally unable to stick to one subject.
