Saucon Valley School District Approves After School Satan Club at Middle School

If you're the parent of someone attending Saucon Valley Middle School, you're in luck. That's because the school district has approved the After School Satan Cub to host gatherings after school hours. It launches March 8. This is an alternative to schools hosting the evangelical Good News Club. According to Wikipedia, After School Satan Clubs do not teach children to believe in supernatural beings named Satan or perform Satanic rituals.

Some people's heads are going to explode.

I suppose you are a supporter, after all many Christians are an obstacle to the endorsed agenda for America. I am sure this will make america a better place, just another effort to add more diversity.

I get their point. No religion should be backed with any form of tax dollars, including a public building for religious meetings. The people who would defend religious teachings in tax sponsored buildings are the same people who would not only lose their minds over the faux Satanist gathering but I'm sure would have a problem with Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. teachings that do not follow their beliefs. There was a good reason the founding fathers wanted the separation of church and state, something the Supreme Court seems to have forgotten.

Don't worry. We will handle this.

If you don't think the family next door is demonic and satanic and raising their kids to be demonic and satanic, you haven't been following the news. Clubs spring up where there are willing parents that allow kids of like interest to participate. Meanwhile, at Catholic schools, priests were raping the kids and being hidden from authorities by predatory homosexual bishops (The Lavender Mafia) in a shell game of parish transfers. They were talking a good Christ-centered game while acting demonically around the children in their care. The Allentown Diocese didn't expend a single millstone while claiming to assist authorities in prosecuting the priestly rapists. Who's worse? One group has an actual track record.

This looks like a job for Steve Lynch and his 20 strong men! If he wasn't already in a state of crippling paranoia, he surely will be now. Sit tight, his "Fascistbook" truck videos will commence shortly! (of course, I won't be able to see them because he has blocked me... being the 1st amendment advocate that he is)

Cuckoo!

This club is obviously a reaction to the "good news" clubs springing up at public schools, thanks to our Supreme Court. No, the family next door is not "demonic and satanic."

A Satan Club in Saucon Valley School District - what's the big deal?

Don't they already have a democrat club?

I guess a Satanists Club is a bit redundant.

Wondering how a proposed Ku Klux Klan Club would go over in Saucon Valley? Both Satan and the Klan are known to have done deeds that would be considered alternative to Christianity. Where do we draw the line here?

I know this, if the Satan worshipping Saucon Valley kids knock on my door for fundraising, I’m not buying in.

I’m the product of Catholic schools and one of things I took away was a great respect for the separation of church and state. No tax dollars should support any specific religious beliefs. We have lots of churches that have religious education in place. So get your kids up on Sunday morning and attend with them. Lead by example.

I thought Republicans liked the 1st Amendment?
Ohhhh, only when it pertains to their values.

Yeah, um, because Christianity doesn't include the suppositions that it is a faith of violence, corruption, superstition, polytheism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, pontification, abuses of women's rights and sectarianism.

I'm no 'super-scholar', but what if the founding fathers of our nation used the principles of Christianity as the necessary guidelines behind the success of Capitalism and 'democracy'? What if the breakdown of Christianity is the parallel to the continuing challenges of our nations latest success?
Christianity may not be the endorsed religion of our nation, as continuously knocked down by the anti-religion sect of our population, but without the basic principles, is it possible for Capitalism and democracy to continue to lead us as the "shining light on the hill"?
- “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”

Just food for thought. I know many will rip this theory apart, but hope some will think about the possibility of it having merit.

7:13- I hear ya! There's a reason that DeSales University removed Allentown Bishop McShea's (The founder of the University) statue and name from the campus.

Fascism comes to America cloaked in Christianity, carrying a cross and preaching the Bible.

I wish our Supreme Court understood this.

8:05- Au Contraire, Bernie. Everyday, when my children come home from school and I'm helping them with their homework, I crank up Van Halen's, "Running with the Devil" and AC/DC's "Highway to Hell". We also all know that the latter stands for AGAINST CHRIST/DEVIL CONQUERS!

My neighbors have been in discussion about performing an exorcism.

Well, I hope you and all the little Lucifers enjoy yourselves.

Saucon Valley School District already has a Ku Klux Klan club. It's called "Redneck Row". This is where a bunch of the proud racists in the Township drive to school in their pick up trucks, emblazoned with their MAGA flags and they line up their vehicles in a specific row in the parking lot.

They didn't. Although there were certainly Christians like George Washington among the founding fathers, the drafters of the constitution would more properly be called theistic rationalists who had no intention of creating a Christian nation. They rejected a theocracy that Christian nationalists now wish to present.

Rolling Stone is your source?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That’s a good one, dude!

Sorry the Klan is a Christian organization for white dudes and dudetts

Anonymous said...

No, the Conservative Party does all that…

Anonymous said...

9:24- I'd rather site Rolling Stone as my source than the Bible, dude! HAHAHAHA.

I would post more HAHA's but you seemed to have "capitalized" upon its usage. And since you love capitalism, I'll even bet that you "identify" as a Christian, God- fearing, 2nd amendment loving, 'true' conservative, male patriot. Yeehaw! (giggle)

Anonymous said...

Why did they change their name from "The Young Republicans Club"?

Anonymous said...

"No, the family next door is not "demonic and satanic.""

You write that as if a family that practices things satanic is problematic. You have some evolving to do.

Anonymous said...

It should be obvious that approving ANY controversial student group to use taxpayer-funded school buildings will upset many people. The possibilities for conflict are numerous. I’ve already mentioned Ku Klux Klan, but how about an Abortion Club, a Right to Life Club, a Gun Club, a Wine Club, a Gambling Club? You get the picture. After school clubs should meet off campus!

Anonymous said...

It seems this is the new religion of the present administration, endorsing the mutilation of children, the teaching of bazaar ideas in the public schools. It is time for all good parents to get their kids out of the public school. It is part of the future evil system.

Anonymous said...

While everyone is focused on balloons and other nonsense. We are now in WW3 that will certainly bring about real things to be concerned about.

Anonymous said...

No Christianity is the one with priests that touch little boys. And change their Bible 14k times throughout history but it was “written by god” please don’t fool yourself.

Anonymous said...

So then Salisbury Township shouldn’t have the Good News club after school which supports Christianity

Anonymous said...

You do know there’s 2 different types of Satanism, correct? There’s the Church, which is evil as fuck and there’s the Temple of which is basically having common sense and being against tyranny

Anonymous said...

Maybe if Christianity wasn’t trying to run the government and women’s bodies we wouldn’t have so many people joining the Satanic temple.

Hail Thyself

Anonymous said...

Republicans are demonic not democrats - well actually they’re all fuckin liars. We need an independent in. But no we break shit down to being about fucking a color and an animal… it’s stupid..

At least the temple is a positive place

Anonymous said...

I thought the devil went to Georgia?

Anonymous said...

One nation under God. Hmmm... While a large majority of kids are failing math let's try a Satan club. And no one is appalled. Now we are attacking Christians on this blog. What's next. No wonder the kids are screwed up and failing. Look at the parents..some on this blog? America without faith isn't america

Anonymous said...

Please research the Temple of Satan and not the Satanic Church- two COMPLETELY different groups.

Anonymous said...

Well and supremeists

11:27: well, well, well Church Lady. You don't seem uptight and closed minded at all.

Also, America with and/or without faith "is" America. It's called Freedom of Choice. Perhaps, you should attend Church more so you become a less hypocritical, stone thrower. Remember, too, when you point your self righteous finger at someone, three are pointed right back at you. Father James O'Neil taught me that nugget. He was also the principal of my Catholic High School who was defrocked and charged with raping students.

Good day to you, Fascist.

As long as they don’t teach critical race theory everyone will be ok

Anonymous said...

Satan Clubs = things white people do with their privilege. I think that's where whitey labels for minorities, like Latinx and POC, originate.

Anonymous said...

According to this Church's mission, "the club is sponsored by the Satanic Temple, a “non-theistic religion that views Satan as a literary figure who represents a metaphorical construct of rejecting tyranny and championing the human mind and spirit.”

“After School Satan Club does not attempt to convert children to any religious ideology, instead, the Satanic Temple supports children to think for themselves. All After School Satan clubs are based on activities centered around the Seven Fundamental Tenets, and emphasize a scientific, rationalist, non-superstitious worldview.”

Sounds much better than most other religions.

Clutch your pearls, 11:27am.

Anonymous said...

Then why name it Satan club????

Anonymous said...

If you believe in God, then you must believe in the Devil. Suck it up you hypocrites :>)

Anonymous said...

The only thing that’s worse would be a Republican club!

Anonymous said...

I love pearls! Wear them everyday. I believe in faith of all kinds. Devil worship is simply not faith. I am far from self righteous but the way this world is going and how incredibly angry and judgemental you all are shows how messed up we all are. Our future depends on how we raise our children. Freedom is wonderful. Satan in schools under whatever explanation they use is simply not what I pay taxes for and not what I support. Have a Satan club if they want but not part of the schools activities

This country is F@cKED!

My 5 year old grandson can be a devil at times, maybe we should look into transfering him to that district
And this is the result of people shoving their beliefs on a public institution
I hope they are satisfied.

3:44- Probably for dramatic effect and to accomplish exactly this... ^ (up arrow)

and this ... √ (down arrow)

@4:42

As long as we keep religion out of the schools, there should not be praying around the flag
In the morning.

Anonymous said...

5:38

Why? Please Explain your thoughts.

Anonymous said...

The devil club can rent any building, VFW, banquet hall, etc. for their “meetings” but, no, they choose SCHOOLS, so that they can indoctrinate even more children. There should be NO “religion” classes taught on public school property AT ALL. BETTER IDEA-GET YOUR OWN “CHURCH” FOR YOUR MEETINGS INSTEAD OF FORCING YOUR FILTH ON OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN!

Anonymous said...

"Roll model." Got it.

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

This club is fitting for Saucon Valley and fitting for these times. Decline is easy and fast. Normalizing decline is the tricky thing.

Anonymous said...

Between stunts like this, the sexually charged school library books, and transvestite story hours for school children, I’d say it’s time for parents to take their kids out of public schools. We now read Culver City, CA schools are removing Advanced Level classes from their curriculum . . . . because such courses might hurt the feelings of students not qualified! Don’t be surprised if some “woke” parent or group pushes this same idiocy on Saucon Valley Schools.

Anonymous said...

Why the hate for this? It's people celebrating their freedom of speech! Also their freedom of religion! Some of you people are all for making American a Christan nation and get so upset when there is pushback. Well, I have news for you, the street goes both ways!

Anonymous said...

EXACTLY!

Anonymous said...

Look at the difference in society today as to what it was 20 years ago. Sure there was crime but nothing like today and I feel these types of 'clubs' just fuel the fire!! Get it?

Anonymous said...

“because such courses might hurt the feelings of students”

Nothing hurts feelings quicker than teaching white students about true AMERICAN history. Especially, if those courses include learning about the atrocities of chattel slavery.

Conservatives are the biggest crybabies

Anonymous said...

2:37, why the racial implication about the Advance Placement matter? I was assuming the move was to soothe students who are less academically prepared to handle the rigors of faster pace instruction. Nothing in this report singled out a particular race, it was you to bring up the possibility of a race component. Give it a rest.

If a thousand Saucon Valley parents don’t show up to the next school board meeting and demand this nonsense cease, then they deserve what they get.

And who exactly is behind this club. Why aren’t they identified and proudly featured.

Oh, I forgot. Satan works in “mysterious” ways.

then this happens

"a threatening voicemail was left at the School District office at 4 p.m. Tuesday by a man who referenced the approval of After School Satan Club. In consultation with the Lower Saucon Police Department, she decided to close school Wednesday."
